August-10-2026 - Bug Raider Villains + Commission work!

This week, the Dredram commanders line up for their staff photoshoot, and another cyber-mutant rears its bulbous head!

The Dredram are the main villainous faction of Bug Raiders, originating from a parallel dimension that has spent thousands of years conquering other "neighboring" universes, growing so vast and amorphous that the only thing that brings them under control is the Dredlord themselves (more on them later).

Zatron (middle) is the Lord Commander of the invasion of Earth, and descended from a once reputable family before his father decided to rebel against the Dredlord. A rebellion that Zatron himself would cut short.
In spite of this, Zatron would not redeem his name, and would go on to be a career commander, always conquering, but never able to keep a dimension for himself.
He hopes that once he demonstrates how well he can assimilate Earth into a Dredram world, he may be granted his right to rule over it.
Zatron's main interest is studying the life forms of different worlds, and figuring out how to manipulate their genetics into creating new and exciting beasts to unleash onto the earth just to observe their hijinks. He views earth as his own personal vivarium, and every being living on it as his subjects, existing only for his own edutainment.

Nasar (left) has been Zatron's number two for centuries, and about as loyal a friend as a conniving Dredram pure-blood can be. He's an expert at running numbers and logistics, and is an avid gambler and gamer in spite of his serious position as a tactical advisor to Zatron.
Nasar operates in plan sight as the CEO of the Megacorp Steele Inc known as James-Calvin Steele.
As JC, Nasar infiltrated an arms manufacturing company, talked his way up the ranks, sabotaged his rivals, and started calling the shots after sweeping out the competition.
"JC" has become famous for being a ruthless corporatist by most, but to the upper crust of earthling society, he is a very useful man who always seems  to have the solution to everything.

Gorama (Right) is a priestess that has preached the word of Dred for most of her life, teaching the masses of the empire their subversive, sadistic ways.
During one of her sermons, Gorama would be attacked by a rebel, scarring her face for life, and destroying her "wisdom eye", the most apparent feature  of every Dredram pure-blood.
Though these bulging right eyes are seen as symbols of Dredram excellence and power, she would continue her work with the same gusto, if not more severe in her doctrine.
Gorama is obsessed with exposing the primal nature of all things, working in the shadows to corrupt the hearts of people into being the worst versions of themselves before taking them into her fold.
Gorama's control over the secret "Majicks" held as sacred by the Dredram has made her something to be feared even by her equals, as she can read and manipulate your mind with a look, or simply rip you to shreds without lifting a finger just as easily.

With these three at its head, the Dredram invasion of earth has slowly and surely covered the world in paranoid horror, nobody truly knowing where these monsters come from, and why the people in charge don't know what to do about them, if they believe in them at all.
One can hope there are heroes bold and brave enough to face down the nightmare that is taking over the planet.
Well, that's all for this week!

For next time, I'm getting started on the first page of Sparks Fly, continuing Performances, and finishing up another Cybermutant commission.
Until then, thanks for the support!
