It would be super duper scary if the experience was that you went there as a group and one by one your friends went insane and the actual scare actors were seemingly even breaking their character and pretended this was all getting out of hand and they unsuccessfully tried to stop your friends from torturing you after they got traumatized themselves by their experiences., so they call the police but then the police starts also harassing you instead of doing their job until everyone in the world seems out of their minds. It'd be like the hardcore version of the vid of the boy who's whole family pretends he became invisible and they can't hear him anymore.

Krusebel should have hired a voice actor to pretend to be Russ and taken the angle of that you've finally reached the 'Real Manor' and that Russ would be controlling your Krusebel experience.
