Daily Draws 1-10
I've started a new project where I have to do a new pencil drawing every day for a year, as I have neglected my sketchbooking and got quite stale over the last few years. Not bad, just creatively mundane. So the idea is to do something every day, even if it is only very small due to other responsibilities.
Here are the first batch. My hope is to see the green shoots of recovery, or open up some new ground, over a year.

Were there always only 9, or is one now LOST MEDIA?
On deeper reflection I realize how narrowminded it is to equate daily drawing to mean a single completed drawing.
Is that a Frank and Sadie Doyle from Beyond Belief?
Not familiar with this!
this goofy werewolf in the burbs is wonderful, poor menacing loser
Pez Wizard!
The Sting of Love reminds me of those Kate Bush photos that have her dressed like a bat.
Proving that your off-hand practice has the power to make me smile, chuckle, or giggle. Thanks, as usual.
Glerb. If you know, you know.
Absolutely love 6/365
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Give my best to Grieg Johnson.
These are all terribly evocative! Please keep sharing! (My interpretation of the bottom-right panel of Art vs Artist is that its from the secret origin story of Space Owl.)
* out of my nose.
Thank you for clarifying
"The Sting of Love" started my morning off right. I blew coffee
Just missed on the football sketch (foreshortening is a pain ain't it?) . I'm not just being cryptic, looks like you free-handed from an action shot. But that number.. Seriously look this up https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068315/ it may inspire.
Freehanded off a loose Fleer packet in two minutes before driving, not much of a drawing
Night Wolf needs to do some exercises to improve his posture, prowling gets a lot harder once you do your back in
Beautiful project.
I think you have definitely captured something essential about American Football in that second drawing.
Also, the plaid shirt makes me think the werewolf is Scott McCloud.
I have a goal to do the same next year - make something every day. Or at least every other day. Feeling too out of creative breath lately and need to get back in artistic shape.

Dare we enter the Pez Wizard Cinematic Universe?
