Those were some wild and heady days in the first decade of the internet, when we made and shared content just because it was so great to have an outlet for all the stuff in our heads and someone was actually willing to look at it, even if was just 3 people. Peter foresaw paywalls being the Deth, but I actually think Web 2.0 and the rise of (anti)social media is just slow torture where you wish you were ded.
