Steeple Summer Special
I've been working on a comic with Max Sarin drawing and Sammy Borras colouring, it will emerge around the same time Steeple volume 3 does. It's just a web thing at the moment, no plans for a print version but it will probably end up in any prospective fourth Steeple volume.
Anyway, here's the cover and a tiny preview of the madness inside.

Dark Horse had better do a print version! This looks too fantastic to miss.
Ahh, Shelley, the timeless siren... This is going to be amazing!
Waaaaaaaaa! [collapses]
Looks amazing
I've been stuck on this Archie-style rendering all day! My goodness, everything about it is so perfect, Max really knows no bounds when it comes to delivering and surpassing expectations. The comic itself is sure to be a home run!
Praying every day to both God and the Devil until I see this in print
This looks excellent! I'm a bit surprised to see the Rev doing the shopping, but perhaps Mrs. C is on holiday. Also, the Rev should get some beets to match his face. :D
That cover is great.
This looks excellent! Great cover!
This will be a highlight of the summer!
I'm looking forward to this like you wouldn't believe!
Fabulous! It's delightful to see Max Sarin's art for your characters again. And the Archie-style cover is absolutely brilliantly executed.
AMAZEBALLS
Can't wait for this! I hope that every summer from now on there's a Steeple/Bobbins crossover, in the old JLA/JSA tradition. My other crossover hope is that someday you do a story about Lottie and Rev. Penrose sending letters to each other, describing what's going on in their respective towns. In my headcanon, they're friends and penpals -- handwriting chatty letters on paper to each other that they send through the post.
YES
GASP! HOORAY!!!! Great cover. The fact that Tom looks so concerned and Maggie is like she's watching the most comical thing ever is so funny!
Omgomgomgomg!
That cover, glorious! Very much looking forward to this one.
Will Lotte have to come rescue Shelley once more?
Looks more like Lottie will come to rescue her friend Penrose from Shelley to me.
Gah! CAN'T STOP LAUGHING
Oh my goodness. Fan service at its best. We'll anything with Shelley is.
I love literally everything about this!
This is *spectacular*
I <3 Max Sarin's art!
Yeah! What Heather said.
hell yeah, test the righteous
Couldn't quite get that "slightly horny aura" out of her head? Or is it all in his head?
Hurray I love Sarin's work!
Well done! Poor Rev. Doesn't stand a chance.
Love the Archie style cover!!
