Free Comic Book Day 2017
I just put the best colour version of this that I have up on Instagram, I don't have the hi-res colour artwork on file as it was finished by Sarah Stern (who coloured By Night and issues 1-5 of Steeple), but here's the B&W work with all the bits that were covered by trade dress.
If memory serves, I looked for pictures of comic shops, then warped one to make it more dynamic as the basis for the cover.
The comic itself was a big chunk of Bad Machinery 7, which was the only volume formatted suitably for inclusion in such a pamphlet!
EDIT: I have been provided with the full version!

Tibkins! I want ALL the alternate covers!!
I went a-googling to see whether "Goth Dachsund" is a real title (you never know) and people, the Internet is a dark, dark place.
It's a comic strip my friend Jeff Rowland made! Long lost to history I think.
I have this one. Love it.
Oh man, the trade dress blotted out some PRIMO titles!
Huzzah!
This was how I discovered your work! I got the free comic book in the morning and by evening I’d already been back to the comic shop to buy all the bad machinery they had in stock.
Need more Energy Crow content tbh
I'll bite. What is the blobby thing with the lumpy appendage with the little tongue stick out looking at Lotties book?
Love the Louie Theroux comic!
Waiting eagerly for the PDF of "Space Battle Lunchtime" ..
That was a real comic Oni put out, by Natalie Riess!
Was there a unique comic or was it just a preview of one of the books?
It was just the first 30 pages of vol 7.
I don’t have words for how much I love this
Giant Days, Fishman and what looks very much like an Esther figurine. Very meta, as I believe the young people say.
High-end statues were genuinely the only Giant Days merch I was interested in.
Always been one of my favorites! I commented on Instagram already, but I do have the unobscured version on-hand: https://m.imgur.com/YdKNngI.png
I'll add it!
Math Man...
Math Man looks like the sort of book Scout Comics might put out...
