Des Fishman's Holiday Lodge
No explanation offered, or indeed, I would say, strictly necessary.

Sir Rod! Actually one cool old guy. Met him once touring his Model Railroad layout. Not your typical one-dimensional shallow rockstar. No wonder Des invited him!
HOORAY a Desmond's Christmas special! Tiny little witch!!! Well, kinda true.
A Christmas miracle!
Weird timing. Have you seen the news on the Rodster?
Rod don't back down, gonna stand his ground...
This comic fills me with an explosion of whimsey and delight. Either that or what I got from McDonalds tonight is complaining.
Nor, i think, possible.
I might hope that David Bowie would turn up as the musical guest (as he did for Bing Crosby), but Mr. Stewart will do in a pinch. It's true that Bowie is deceased, but that is not necessarily an impediment to people in John's comics.
Any explanation would sully the experience. 😍
I love how Charlotte just assumes she is the witch and not the lovely lady.
Well, he did say “tiny,” and Charlotte is shorter than Shelley.
Thank you for this Gift
Just remember a Rod is for life, not just for Christmas...
I just suddenly remembered that the Bosun, one of Desmond's encounters in Tregredyn, was wearing red trousers. Was that foreshadowing?
I secretly hope your next as-yet unannounced comics project is a monthly prestige book entirely about Desmond Fishman.
As you know, I live for Fishman content. True genius. Plus Shelley's jumper is aces.
Thanks. Now when I read, I hear Don Pardo's voice saying, "Musical Guest Rod Stewart," in his rising baritone. <3 Every. Time.
This may be your greatest achievement. Now or ever. And to think it only cost me a dollar to see it.
Rod Stewart for Christmas! Not what I was expecting!
look @ this beautiful mark-making. and a likeness for good measure! presents, presents for me.
Love Shelly's fuzzy sweater!
"The Nerve!" All I want for Christmas is more strips featuring Lottie.
