Sunday blend
I've started to get a little busier of late, a deadline has appeared for a new book, plus a few illustrations on the side, and some distant thunder on other projects is starting to sound. This has combined with pretty brutal eye strain from a year of staring at screens for work and play all year, so I've had to set strict computer time limits (which writing this post contravenes - don't tell the optometrist) and restrict my playtime drawing to pen and paper. The results have been... baffling.
Here's a movie you might like to go and see...
Here are a selection of ideas that may appeal to young people.
Here's a new project that will almost certainly bag me an Eisner, "Brit Street".
And finally, a Fishman double-header, starting with his latest find, Conchigle Octoberman.
And a little note on the "delta variant".
I guess that'll do for this week. Who is "Barran"?

A Yuletide gift!
Guts Gym: "Just the Abs" since 1986.
"ALL RIGHT DICKHEADS" is exactly the kind of thing that dickhead Delta Variant would say.
Won't Keith still be using Jagger's skull to front the Stones in 2080?
We'd love to hear more about the illustration you do, if not now, then whenever they are published.
I don't do many, when they emerge, I'll show them!
Chod?
I would listen the hell out of that Conchigle Octoberman album. I’m imagining it’s like Crane Wife-era Decemberists mixed with Procol Harum with a dash of John Denver.
And who is Juan?
Well, exactly. There’s a story right there.
Who is Jemma?
