Somefield guest spot
11+ years ago, I did a guest page for a Somefield book by Barnaby Ward, a very talented illustrator and cartoonist who lives in the West Indies. I found it the other day when looking for a page to rework for the Youtube stream. i think the strip was called "Merrick's" or "Merricks" but it was a long time ago. I do still like the first panel.
In return, Barnaby did this beautiful drawing of Shelley and Desmond. I treasure it!

Great page.
Was it called "Sixteen Miles to Merricks"? I have a book collection of some of the strips.
Nice one Marc!!
For those of us not familiar with Somefield, who are the characters portrayed in this strip? Whence the strong resemblance of the bike shop proprietor and a certain green hominid from the scary-go-round universe?
I have no recollection of anything that happened in the comic, it's so long since I read it. Any resemblance purely coincidental.
