Circus Windows (2021)
The last issue of Wicked Things is out tomorrow. I hope Max and I will be able to reunite to continue the story but it could be a little while. But for Charlotte Grote fans, there will be a new story in early 2021, Circus Windows, a 44-page reunion with Mildred from Bad Machinery. Not 100% sure where/when it'll be running but writing is underway and I'll start drawing it soon.
I came up with a whole, complicated Mildred series this year that is different to everything else I've done but I'm not sure it will see the light of day any time soon. Fingers crossed, eh?

May I add that the final Wicked Things was a delight, though I do find myself still dangling off at least a couple of cliffs.
You and me both...
You had me at “Scary Go Round:”
MILDRED! ( A peep at Neil and Glenys would make me v happy obvs. Even if they're just in a photo in Haversham's bedroom.)
These are all excellent developments!
Are we supposed to cross our fingers so that the Mildred story does come out or so that it doesn't? I expect the former to be the correct answer.
Trying to be mentally prepared for bad news on Election Day, but at least there's one piece of good news today. (The rest remains to be seen.)
I am absolutely vibing for this, so excited to see Mildred again, I would absolutely go berserk for a Mildred series, hopefully wee could see her with Jack 🥺🥰
Very excited for this!
A whole, complicated Mildred series is exactly what I need in my life, I reckon...looking forward to this as a teaser! She's my favorite chaos-maker, aside from Claire :P
HOORAY!!!! Mildred is back! And with Lottie she will destroy the universe!!!
Fingers crossed!
Hooray! Bad Machinery was my introduction to the wonderful Tackleford extended universe so I'll always have a soft spot for those kids. Possibly the only thing that would make me happier than the Lottie/Mildred reunion would be to find out how Shauna Wickle is doing,..maybe some day...
But — but — Shauna!
Bad Machinery is the comic that introduced me to this entire world. I am most gratified to hear news of this reunion.
Excellent! Bad Machinery is my absolute favorite comic.
This news is so wonderful to hear today!
Mildew!!! I'm going to keep on slipping you a few quid a month 'til you make this happen. Good argument there possibly for putting it off as long as possible. I should shut up. Thanks John.
Solvers...
The girls are back in town, eh?
Rest assured this story takes in not only Tackleford but also (ugh) Wendlefield
