Round & Round & Round #1 cover preview
Solver returns at the end of January (delayed by jury duty as discussed) in a new form, SOLVER CASE FILES. Here's the cover of the first Case Files issue, Round & Round & Round part 1. Whatever you think this story is going to be about, I promise to confound you at least once and possibly twice. Other than roller skates, it is about roller skates. Two further case files are well on in development. Hopefully I won't be conscripted into an army or sent to jail or &c. before I can run those.

Eeek it looks scawwy!!!!
Much like the made-up men in your comics, I am always enchanted by Mildred. So looking forward to this duo and their nosey gremlin energy!
Mildred is set to dazzle!
I assume that the name of the roller derby team is not the "Tackleford No Fucks." Looking forward to this greatly!
I know you work hard at it, but it's always a delightful to see how you turn "everyday" scenes: regular people, settings, and especially clothing; into stunning visuals.
You're so good at compelling covers John! I'll be eager to find out what the connection between roller derby and the phantasmagorical happenings might be! The mundane clashing with the supernatural; that's Tackleford for you!
Ah, more Mildred! Always a prickly yet welcome presence!
I love Mildred, she's so Complicated.
missed opportunity .. Round and Round and Round: Round 1
You fell into my trap, I've got three months to change it
Really looking forward to this What will make the “Case Files” stories stand out from the original Solver run?
Wait and see
Lock him up!!!
Unbelievable, why do I have to go to jail this time?
I hope this return to Solver means we might be going back to Cornwall some time as well. I wonder what those crazy cats are up to.
I've come to the sad conclusion that I can't run both series side by side. I'd have loved to have done more Steeple but there's no print publishing home for it and no time to give it the love it deserves. I had hoped Webtoon would take the stuff Dark Horse didn't publish but they didn't want it either, which was basically the end. Sorry Ken - I'm Steeple fan #1.
Looks scary scary scary. Let's go go go! (Sorry)
Those expressions are *everything*. I've said it before but I love how you give so much expression with just the perfect amount of linework. You've sharpened that skill to a fine point.
I learned from the Batman cartoon artists - particularly Darwyn Cooke, whose work is a constant inspiration. The refinement of that is something I am always working on so thank you Brian.
Looking forward with pleasure to being confounded!
