Life drawing
I go to life drawing most weeks, though I've been doing comedy improv and stand-up classes over the last few months, which have interrupted my attendance a bit. But this week's drawings were okay. I go expecting nothing, it's just an exercise after all. If I get good results, I am pretty delighted.

Hey, that’s awesome John! You’re doing things that I’ve always wanted to do, but have been too reticent to try. I hope all the classes are going well! Thanks for sharing
What motivated/inspired you to want to take more comedy-oriented classes like the improv and stand-up ones
ah, I recognize all of those poses. Classic!
Never had the opportunity for a model like her. I think (Sir) Henry Moore did some like this (as a study for a sculpture) but not as good or well-done! Your style shows through and makes it delightful! Are you using a computer pad? The inclusion of the flat graphic on her back (#20) is very interesting, and I only noticed it on the 3rd or 4th viewing.
Beautiful!
I love these! Thanks for sharing.
Nice drawings and the correct way to approach life drawing, I have found. Expecting good results is bad for morale when they don't appear.
Fantastic
These are all great. Holy shit.
I love how your style comes through loud and clear, yet this is so different from your comic characters.
This is what I was going to say, but you beat me to it!
Great work and what a fantastic model!
These are lovely.
