A savage sword
My release schedule calls for a new mini this autumn which means that as work on Wobbly Head winds to a close (just over a dozen pages left to draw), I am beginning to flesh out ideas for a standalone 32-44 page comic. What will it be? The scrying crystal says there is an 85% chance it is "a spin-off of a legally-troubled project that no one is allowed to talk about any more." We'll see if it is writable; I suspect that once I begin, it will almost write itself. Here's a tiny peek into the sketchbook.

Make it so, Mr Allison!
I made it so!
Yes!!!! Subvert the corporate kleptocracy of zombie copyrights!
This is actual Esther sent back to the similar to but legally distinct from the Hyborian Age by the Ministry of History.
Oh my god i might die
From excitement, to be clear.
John, your characters are better than other people's characters. That sentence can be interpreted abstractly or concretely; both are true.
This is why I’ve always said the Sonic games would be better with Amy Chilton instead of Amy Rose (disclaimer: I’ve never said this, but it sounds better that way)
You had me at Susan. Savage swords are just bonus!
May one hope that there'll be a climactic battle in a corporate boardroom, or perhaps a suite of lawyers' offices?
follow your heart.
✊🗡️💋
Yay!!!!
YEEEEEEESS!!!! Susan will be able to destroy and kill!
In addition to the slaying to which we are already acostomed
Would I object to a story wherein Savage Susan seeks vengeance against a thinly veiled representation of the highly litigious estate of a certain fantasy author? No, I certainly would not!
Technically, they're not even his estate.
Oh man. Don’t get sued, John. 🤞
Or esthered, or daisied
CROMulent!
Red Susan?
While I am saddened by the sudden snuffing out of the "Crom Guy" project, I'm starting to wonder if it might be something of a mixed blessing if that means we get to see the Giant Days girls in their own sword and sorcery epic.
Meanwhile Ingrid doesn’t care about the rules and pulls out a gun
This makes me unbearably happy, and the blueprints aren't even dry.
Does it kind of rhyme with "Phoning The Librarian"?
Hot damn.
I mean Esther didn’t know what a wolf looked like that one time so this checks out Also holy shit Esther
