Sluice gates II
Up to around 2015 I was a lot more active doing wallpapers, what I would term "pop culture sketches", little cast lineups, the Bad Machinery halloween costumes. I've got folders full of these more finished "sketchbook" drawings. As my workload got heavier and heavier, I pretty much stopped making them. I found a "misc drawings" folder on my backup drive today and these were my favourites from about a hundred which ranged from dashed-off jokes for friends to more finished pieces.
Most of these were drawn on the computer but a few are from the period where I had built up some skill with the pencil and could do a nice drawing on paper in a "second style" that had a real charm. Unfortunately, this ability has now all but vanished.

Lottie as Deanna Troi is...thought-provoking. Kirk (and many later officers) would have said that anyone who needed a counsellor needed a kick up the arse; and while the Troi of "Picard", unlike the Troi of TNG, would have been a first-class arse-kicker, a Counsellor Grote comic would have to have been entitled "Arses in Orbit". (In a mirror universe with a sane approach to intellectual property, it was made so.)

The Scary Go Round Christmas one is great I see Shelley yet again hanging with a bad crowd.

Ah, I miss all these kids. I'm hoping for a future reunion and it's just down to the Mystery Boys that need checking in on.
