I was on a break
I am two weeks into my self-imposed sabbatical, where I have sworn to do as little as possible until I can take it no more (or afford it no more, more realistically). Today was the first day I have wanted to draw anything. I did an event in Macclesfield at the weekend, but it was low key, with little requirement to break out the weapons of war (weapons of draw). Anyway, just wanted to check in.

Welcome back John! I'm glad you've been able to get some proper R&R time. And what better way to commemorate it than with Glenn/Glyn/Glorm bouncing on his personal nicotine patch for those nagging trampoline cravings.
Glad your mandatory rest period is going well. Though it has taxed my willpower, I've been savoring the new Solver page by page, as god intended.

Tempted to make some connection with seminal British thrash metal outfit Sabbat, but you don't need that kind of noise shattering the calm of Castle Allison right now I'm sure. Carry on, enjoy your break, hope you're managing to maintain a civilised temperature.
