Check In 10/5/2026

Hello my friends, we'll be brief today. Just a couple of small renders, nothing major for you, this weekend I was playing with sculpting, seeing if I could get some quick morphs together for specific scenes. Just background stuff.

Didn't follow my own schedule rigidly this last week, I entered one of those "fuck it, finish the whole scene first and then worry about other shit" loops, so that's what I did instead of moving to junk drawer stuff right away. So that scene is finished up and I've also mostly finished the other little assignments, revamped set is nice and pretty and our lovely guest from last weeks check in is mostly finished, I might show her off next week.

Aside from the above, I've been chipping away at the big scary animations. I've probably looked at more reference material the past week than is really reasonable, if anything is going to melt my brain it will be that. Jokes aside animation takes the last two hours of each work day and it's a nice way to wind down. But give it a few weeks and I'm sure it will cause me rage instead, such is the nature of "creatives."

Anyway we're going to have an art stream this weekend, I haven't decided exact time yet cause I'm working around IRL concerns, but I'll post something more concrete here and Discord once I have all that worked out. Oh and very, very much spoilers so don't drop by if you like to go in totally blind.
