Check In 07/29/2026

Hello everybody, hope you're well, tried something a little weird this week, maybe you'll like it.

A fairly standard week for me this week, my primary focus has mostly been focused on wrapping up what I consider the first "act" of the update. With most of the scenes having something of a thematic tie in before the big middle scene I've just been feeling a bit fixated on getting it done, something of an artistic preoccupation I suppose. So yeah normally this would be my junk drawer week, but that will be moved into next week so that I can finish this stuff. So once the still renders are done, while I'll have some more animations to work on, I'll be about halfway done with the art for the update which is a nice feeling, feels like some good solid progress. That's about all the exciting news for now, and I should have some more after our next junk drawer as well.
