Sometime, please consider sculpting a few models similar to the Skyrim Nightingale style. Would be lots of fun.
It looks so nice!!!
Thank you!
My wife is deathly afraid of rats, so I'm very excited for this set!
😂
Are these guys goblin and dwarf sized or human sized?
Good question Sporf :) these are more like goblins, as their base are 25mm. The Rat brutes are roughly the double and they fit 30mm base, like large orcs.
it's so disappointing isferat not being named mumm-rat it has the looks
I didn't think about it but it would have worked so well Iker! Luckly at your game it can have any name :) Cheers!
I don't really have much of a use for rats personally in my D&D game, but these are so good I think I'll just have to think of something to work them in. Nice work!
Thank you Steve, glad that you will give them a chance to shine in your tabletop games :) Some ratkin may be some great alternative to skeletons, kolbolds or goblins if you need large swarming enemies :)
They're nice, but I don't know, something feels off to me. I don't really feels the "sand people" feeling, I guess. Or should I say, it feels like the hats are just put on their heads while the rest is regular GW skavens ? Some poses also don't feel appropriate to me, in particular for the giant rats. Still will print them, but I'm not as hyped as the previous releases TBH
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback! It's essential for us to hear different perspectives to keep improving our work. The idea with the second kit (in this case the no headgear version) is to bring more flexibility and to make them look ok also in other settings, like woods, city sewer or even frozen north taking advantages of the pelts (they are meant for the frigid nights in the desert). As for the poses, I tried to represent the dynamic and chaotic nature of the Ratkin, but also show off the confidence of some rat brutes. Still, I'm always open to suggestions and improvements! Despite your reservations, I'm glad to hear you'll still be printing them. I hope they might grow on you as they come to life from your 3D printer and you paint them :)
I have been waiting for this release! I am super excited, I started wargames and mini-painting with Age of Sigmar Skaven back in the day!
Happy to hear that :) Welcome aboard on the next release!
Only two breasts on your ratkin pinup? For shame!
Why do you allways just make one female Mini and all the others are male?
Hello Henning :) I always make females and males in each set in equal number, in 90% of my sets they are easly recognizable (look at the fighter's guild, arcanist guild, the recent Orr'ugs, the requiem templars, even the Gnolls and so on), in some monster releases, depending on the races, they could look alike, just like cats and dogs or turtles :) This is what I did for the ratkin, but it's not my usual. Pinup model is an extre figure unlocked through goals, it's not meant to be canon, actual Ratkin are indistinguishable by human eye :)
Can we get some more elves in here?
Yeah either that or humans. Been a while since we saw these two I think
Looks great! Seems like the terrain is not modular, however it appears like it would be a good idea to split it into a few pieces (base separately from stands)
The stones and the syphon are separated :)
Amazing set. I always love the desert sands/Arabian Nights style of clothing, armor, and weaponry. As with most Artisan Guild sets, I'll get two "armies" out of this one. Looks like one will be general ratmen with the helmet-less vermins and brutes. The other models will make an undead ratkin army led by Skardaket. I am a bit disappointed that some of the weapons do not have a version without venom. I can always make dripping effects with glue or hobby gels. Or I could use weapons from another set. Anyway, great work as always! Thank you.
Weapons without weapon should be part of the set, let me export them quickly :)
they are amazing!! I love them. but i have question, any plans for riding units?
Perhaps in a future :) at the moment I took the chance of the extra unit to make huge hulking rat brutes.
Haven’t been this excited for a set in a while. These look fantastic!
Amazing, thanks Christopher!
Love-love eet! That scatter terrain is amazing as well!
Thank you James! :)
Awesome. Can you pleeeease add some fighting claws!
Could scale down and use the claws from Vesdra (Orc Barbarians) maybe? Wouldn't have the dripping poison but that can be done with other hobby tricks.
Amazing as always. Great job! I can't wait to print them. I just wish some of them had ears pointed up. I really need some jackalweres, lol.
Hello Paul! Thanks for your idea, never thought of were jakals :)
