The Frostheart Lizardmen
If you think that a Great Linnorm is the only monster roaming in the Frostheart island think twice! The Frosthearts massive Lizardmen are the Linnorm servants who venerate it like a god, a reptile tribe who adapted to live in the frozen island of Skutagaard.
This is a work in progress of what's coming next month :)
It will be a regular set including cavalry options, heroes, an epic boss, a terrain, a pinup, and various modular units!
I'm having tons of fun sculpting these scaly guys, I hope you like the work in progress so far!

Love the colors added to the picture! They look amazing and it helps imagine how I would paint them
Really cool to see lizardfolk in an all-new style! Will you be making any that are more heavily-armored? That's a visual style that I don't often see for lizardfolk.
Love the color on the models. Highlights all the small parts without wondering as much what they could be. (also helps give a base paint schema for those like me that struggle at finding what colors to use :D )
Think I'm going to have to try and kit bash these with the gator head from the Zantharot boss model. Hopefully the hands from these guys will work on that model with a little tweaking to give me a little more options for him weapons etc. I still find it funny that Zantharots the only 4 fingered lizardman in the world.
the textures on those scales looks like great. Ive been playing with the speed paints lately and these seem like a good place to try them. My wife wants to know, will there be Lizardwomen?
Interestingly, there are two ways to tackle lizardwomen (with pros and cons): go either with the over-sexy lizard-with-boobs (but you'll get complaints that lizards are not mammals), or go with more biologically-correct flat-chested lizards, and have to rely on more slender figures to convey a hint of femininity (but you'll have complaints that it's not obvious on a tabletop that they're female). AFAIAC, I prefer the latter. But wait and see! ;)
I'm blown away, these things are Skutagaard and I can imagine them surrounded by draugr, cleaving through the oncoming hoards as they fight for their place on the only vaguely warm basking rock on the cold, desolate island

Love this guy. I'm really loving the shield. Something about it just tickles my fancy. Also glad that there is an option to eschew the fur cloak. I'm thinking about getting 2 tribes out of these guys. Awesome work 👍

Love it, in dungeons and dragons there is an extra large lizardfolk berserker called a Render, hope you make something similar.

More like orcs :) base are 30mm. But that's the perfect spot to reduce or increase the size if needed

You're right! But with a kind in the house my sculpting gets interrupted tons of time and that's why I never record. I should organize for a non interrupted session!

It's not a render style, it's just a painting test on Zbrush, while I was sculpting :) Sometime I do that as little break
