Hello friends!
March is almost over and I finally ended the last sculpt for coming next month.

As you might know, Dwarves are my favourite figures, and I always try to make one set of them each year. April is my birthday and I really wished to make some new cool dwarves from scratch: the earliest had been made with so much less experience in modeling.
I thought making something I really wish for would make things easier, as I was almost burn out of sculpting, but wow... with personal expectations so high and so few days in a month, this has been a really crazy ride, I lost track of how many hours I sculpted each day and how many lunches and dinner I skipped.
But it looks like it was worth it: I made a worthy set of Dwarves, and to me they are totally enough to compete with my previous Lok-Badar Defender , the evil Dumloks (Black Flame Dwarves) and the Dwarven Oathbreaker (one of my favourite faction).
I want to mention that making Dwarves I didn't used previous resources on purpose, you'll not see recycled sculpts or decorations from the previous sets.
THE DWARVES OF SKUTAGAARD
The proud dwarven people of the frozen lands of Skutagaard are known for their stubbornness and courage, a highly customizable set of models that will enrich any adventure. Will you lead them to honorable battles?
Skutagaard, one of the major regions of our universe, located in the mortal realms of Rotvar, is a totally inhospitable places where proud people live in costant conflicts with Dragons, Wyrms, Trolls (you find them in the current release) and the evil forces of the Lich Lord, the Frostmetal Clan.
These Dwarves, unlike the one of Lok-Badar, are costantly going out of the mountain to find resources and hunt, being in costant struggle with Trolls and Giants. Their deeds are sung in the welcoming Hunter Lodge, mead rooms where the dwarves, the free men and elves of Skutagaard warm their heart from the icy winds.
This Set will be released on day 2 of the next month, and if things are going as planned we will launch on Tribe too in the same week.

I'd love some dwarven samurai
Where would be the place to vote or suggest the next line of miniatures? I would love to see either an Arabian Nights themed set or a Samurai set.
There is a set they released a while back, Rakshakin Headhunters. I love this set so much! Dwarves are also my favorite fantasy kin, and not to mention, the female hero for this set happens to be armed/armored in nearly exactly what carry onto the field when fighting in the SCA! Thank you for all of your amazing work ❤️
Would like to see a mace/hammer option in there somewhere (besides the Chief). Otherwise, looks great.
Love your previews - are you having music composed or are you using someone else's tunes via license or something? I'd love to know more about the music you use and maybe access more/longer pieces!

Hi Chris, the post is about the Troll king being available through MMF, but the Artisan guild MMF page does not have a tribes active (although that would be wonderful seeing as I have several tribes running as well). But thank you regardless for taking the time to reply :)

I don't really have any use for dwarves but man these look so good that I'm just gonna find some excuse to at least shove the runekeeper into some project I'm working on atm. Also great work on giving dwarves spears,like as much as I like axe wielding dwarves their reach is already so compromised that spears make most sense for them to use.
Same here. I have more dwarves than any other nonhumans, but these look too good to pass up. Might just have to paint them as Duegar.

This again looks dope. The only thing I wished for, were helmeted versions without the mask.
I was all set to just be down on this, because I don't wind up using dwarves much and I probably have enough unless they're a bit more samurai-like for my setting's purposes, but then you had a whole group of both male and female dwarves wearing those masks, and I legitimately have a female dwarf wearing a mask very similar to those in art for my campaign setting, so you've sold me on it.
Very classic/folkloric feel to this set...love it! Beautiful details and sculpting. I appreciate that HARP!!...don't have one of those accessories in my library. I hope you'll do more miscellaneous accessories like that in the future. Cheers! :)
I’m rather picky about Dwarves, and these are beautiful!! I love the faces on the helmets! There’s no such thing as female Dwarves in the world I play in, so this release is half as big for me and I’m still REALLY looking forward to it! (I do seriously appreciate how you try to make as many females as males in your releases!)
Amazing set! Thank you for your hard work, I agree with what many others have said, this is possibly your best work! These dwarves are so different from your previous ones, they each have even more character and your own style to them, I love them! And I also agree with everyone saying to take some time off! You deserve it!

Would it also be possible to have an expansion in the future? With other dwarves, perhaps more armored but always with this beautiful style, with a forge and a dwarf blacksmith. This set is beautiful and it hasn't come out yet, but I already want more of this dwarves 😅

Amazing work Andrea! I jumped on when I saw this month's amazing Ogres and I am definitely staying on now that I've seen the April dwarves! I've been looking for a while for characterful mounted dwarves and heroes and these are perfect!!

These look fantastic. But I will mention that I think it’s okay if you want to take a month off. I’d rather lose a month to let you recharge than have you burn out and quit. As others have said, take care of yourself!

These are perfectly lovely sculpts, but I think I'll pass this month. I have enough dwarves on rams to last me ten lifetimes. But I look forward to what the next release brings! Until then, please take care of yourself!

Wow I gotta say these are really amazing. The detail and variety you have put into these dwarves is spectacular! I love the different flavor and spin you put on their armor and weapons (especially that bow) is so cool and still feels dwarven. Before the oathbreakers were my favorite set, by these guys now have stolen that crown!
Love your style AG. These are a miss for me personally, I have more than enough of the regular races, I’ll be keeping an eye out for future releases though, the Warforged is what I am really waiting for.
