MMF News and the "Dragonguard" mounts preview!
Hello guys!
First of all, thanks again for all the feedbacks about Sync and the recently incorporated MyAirBridge.
We are really sorry to not being able to answer to every single comment. On top of that we receive about 200 messages per day (and try our best to help you all!) and all of these messages needs personally our care.
You still can be sure that we read every single one, and we are doing crazy hours to make sure the release is delivered on time!
We are also costantly testing and implementing ideas you propose in the comments to check the ones that work best for our system, and as we do that, we adapt and evolve to deliver the best service for you guys!
Looks like Sync is not that bad now that we diluited the traffic with MyAirBridge. With this one we are still learning its functions and will improve over time.
By the next month we should be able to have our totally new MyMiniFactory integrated library, and a retroactive one!
We are still discussing the details with the MMF manager, and it looks like the Loyality Reward system we use to deliver Epic Bosses (and used by other Patreon now) is not that great on their side, they end up resolving hours and hours of tickets.
The new solution they are developing will make things much better on their sides, but still if everyone gets to download its release there the traffic will be so high that the download will be slow. Using at least one storing service like Sync or MyAirbridge in combination with MMF should do the trick.
Still, our main focus is to sculpt awesome things for you.
As you have noticed, we try to keep the monthly release pretty thematic for a simple reason: if you need to build an army or an RPG encounter we want to make sure you have a full line of models of the same factions. On top of having some over-the-top heroes, our object is that the "regular" modular creatures are so detailed and epic that they would stand as heroes on their own too.
Meet the Dragonguard
Our next month idea is to have this Dragonbood (dragon-guys) set called the "Dragonguard": the last hope of a sacred city against the forces of the Tyrant. It will include an array of Dragonguard Knights and infantry. Dragon-thing are so high fantasy that we'd love to counterbalance it with realistic-looking medieval armors plates, it makes the characters more epic and dramatic in our opinion.
Dragonlings mounts are basically young "high-dragons", their wings are still underdeveloped, but this makes for the perfect steeds for this faction. On top of that, let's not forget that the mounts are separated from the knights, so in a near future you will be able to mix this with human knights, orcs, dwarves and so on.
Two modular Dragonguards (a male and a female). Yes are are also working on a two-handed pose... that will of course not be really compatible with other combinations.
The huge thing in the top picture (basically an Epic Boss) is the Heroic Mount of the month. Well it's place holder. It's so messy that the pc could explode from a moment to another ahah!
It's knight is just a placeholder, there will be one of the two epic Heroes on top of its saddle, and of course it will come also in a totally wild version (without saddle).

Now I'm not sure if I want modular Oni cavalry to ride tigers or dragon things....when they eventually arrive :)
Are we getting any new updated pre-supported files from previous releases? The months 07, 08, 09? Or did I just miss something that had the pre-supported files in them?
the vampires should release 15-20.10 . the waiting is driving me nuts already still hoping to be able to print them over the weekend :D

hoping the cavalry mounts also have a wild option (no barding) as well would be nice to have more hunter style pets for dnd :)

I believe when the MMF integration is in full affect , then the downloading pressure will be even less on the other servives. I believe there are Patreons that do not have printers (like myself) and are stocking up on models. If I had access to them on MMF I wouldn't be pressured to download all of thm during the release month because I would have access to them in the future and also have the benefit if they get updated. Another benefit is it is easier to browse the library and find the model you want to print. Once the MMF issue is solved I am willing to bet you'll be able to drop one of the other file services since the download demand will deminish more. I wouldn't get rid of all of them and just do MMF, because I know as soon as I (and others) have a printer, I would want to download the entire month release and help with finding any issues (if any). Keep up the awesome work. Pace yourself and stay safe.
I have a printer and I still do not download the files on day one^^ I'm supporting 5-7 patreons each month since last December (ok, last December it was only AG), so I have more models, than I can print (or at least paint) And I think I'm not the only one^^

These are awesome. I love you guys. I would love wings option on the cavalry to make them into real flying dragon mounts. :) If it is too much to ask, I understand. I will probably just kitbash that with wings from another model I find somewhere.

wow, great that you have all the poses, riding and on ground. and hero on mount.. please if you do this go all the way and wizards as well. Have always been looking to make an army of your models.ya units of the same models with different poses..

Probably a big ask, but I would REALLY love it if the dragon guards could have modular wings or winged versions that can be attached so they could be used for Draconians, which are surprisingly hard to find miniatures.
This is the most exciting theme I could think of, great job!!
They look fantastic.
I love these, and they'll work so awesomely with my Kobolds from last month. I'm using them as a Dragonlance inspired (kinda sorts) army for a couple of games I play, and needed something for heavier troops. These dragonkin will make AWESOME Draconians for it! I'm so stoked!

No armour on the mounts and add interchangeable heads and you have a whole line of dragons. I like these dragon people alot more than I thought I would. Thats a great tribute to your artistic talent. Very well done.
I am also hoping for tails. At least optionally. I enjoyed the catpeople from the last pack, but sad the Princess lost her tail somewhere. Looking forward to these badass dragons, though.

Hey Artisan Guild, I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for consistantly making such top notch models, best in the business. I also fully understand how annoying it must be to be artists who suddenly have to deal with customer support things. I hope people bashing against Sync etc. doesn't burn you guys out too much, because its truly not your fault. Thanks for the crazy amount of time you guys put in. I look forward to every set. <3

We Will add an extra tail of needed. guards will not have a hole in the butt for gluing it but you can digitally bash it :)
Will the riders be removable from the mounts? Has anyone downloaded the cats yet? I haven’t had a chance to look at them to see if the riders are fully separate

Wasn’t a fan of cat people...but you guys killed it. Not a fan of dragonborn...but you guys knocked it out of the park again. And btw, this current month is my favorite month and I’ve backed since the orca came out. Fantastic work you two!!!
