Sparksoot Goblins Work in Progress!
Hello Adventurers and Merchants, and welcome to all the new patrons who joined our guild this month!
The current month (Goldmaw Lizard Set) has been released almost a week ago, you can download it from here.
Now, let's talk about what most of you voted for: Goblins! And not regular ones, but the thematic Sparksoot clan, an industrious tribe of Goblin passionate about metal, gems, coal and explosions!
This first picture is about a Modular Sparksoot Goblin, still in progress. Of course it's not in pose, but he will be in the next days. The Modular models of the next month will have a selection of weapons and contraptions, including few explosives.
For this month only, as it fits the theme with no additional modification to the spirit of the release, we will sculpt a goblin gun for the sci-fi enthusiast :)
It's a simple addition that will cost us just few hours between researching, concepting and sculpting.
As you can see from the poll, the Mounted Hero of the next month will be a Goblin on a Scrap-Golem. Some kind of golem created from metal scrap by the technomancer of the tribe! But stay alert for some extra surprises, we might have something else in the tribe for who doesn't really like Golems, something with a lot of long limbs ;)
As we are sculpting for 32mm scale, our Goblins are 24-25mm to the eyes, exactly at the shoulder of a Human Fighter (released in October). As always feel free to scale those down, honestly we are not expert on the goblin size on all the gaming universes.

I'm really liking how these are shaping up. Voted for the Elves myself, but knew I would like whatever won. Definitely on board with these Goblins!

I've been a patron of a few miniature sculptors since I got my printer earlier this year. Not sure how I didn't find you guys earlier, but I joined at the end of October. The only problem is those other creators that seemed so great for months now seem mediocre in comparison. You have ruined me for other Patreons. I hope you're pleased! :p

For real....if that thing with lots of limbs is also a Spark Powered contraption I will pay you extra.
My money is on giant spider. Regardless, I’m sure it’ll be awesome. Edit - ohhhh, an undead giant spider (because it looks like bone lord is on the way) would be nuts.

They look amazing!! Is it possible the option of more fantasy (less sci-fy) goblins? I understand that this tribe in particular is more tech, but it would be amazing other options!! Thanks!!!
It will heavly depend on color scheme :) you'll have options for the modular to make them not too tech
They look great. Don't worry about scaling, we can take care of that on our end since the bases are separate. It's only when they are attached to bases that scaling becomes tricky (in my experience).

Are there any plans for an alchemist? Or hands/weapons throwing explosives/vials? Would be a great addition for pathfinder:)

Smashing !, very old skool 40k Gretchin. He's going to need to be liberally smeared with grease when painted. How about the goblin gun being something quite Blunderbuss Like, stuffed full of grapeshot, rusty-nails, and other bits of pointy rubbish
Seconded. Would also love to see those aviator goggles on a Gobbo flying a steam powered helicopter.
Looks great! Does anybody else remember the old goblin grenade from magic? With a goblin holding a big bomb? That would be a pretty fun sculpt if you guys wanted to make something goofy for a laugh.

Is the goblin on the golem going to just be like it standing/sitting on a shoulder. Or some type of harness or platform like backpack? I would love something like a platform where goblin is shooting a crossbow or something.
