Animated SpiralStaircase Mod - BETA VERSION
Hi all! This is my animated spiralstaircase mod. The object is fully functional. It's a conversion from The Sims 3 spiralstaircase.
YOU NEED REALM OF MAGIC IN ORDER TO USE IT!!!
The mod has 2 objects:
- The "top" with a floor cutout that works as an exit portal (from realm of magic)
- The "Stairs" that works as an entrance portal (from realm of magic)
THE STAIRS WORKS ONLY ON SMALL SIZE WALLS.
KNOWN ISSUES: The object acts as a realm of magic portal... so if you place more than one spiralstaircase in the lot, the sim will move through them!
You can use it as a normal portal, or you can use the provided interaction to activate the animation.. I made a video-tutorial that explain how the mod work.
INSTALLATION: Extract the 3 mod files into your Mods folder
I'm working to use a buildladder clone instead of a portal clone, but it's really complicated the way maxis made portal system. Let me know for any possible bug.

This is awesome! Question - will this conflict with either K9DB's Elevator markers (I don't use her version of either Wee Albet mod) or LittleMissSam's Elevator mods? K9DB is at modthesims. I've used the combination of her last two files and LMS's files in the past. I'm not sure how to check other than adding everything, lol. Thank you for doing this, truly!
I’m happy you like it 😁. I don’t think it will conflict, cause my mod does not overwrite tuning ids but it creates new one.
