TS2 Nightlife GARAGES in The Sims 4! UPDATE v0.2 BETA
Welcome back to an absolute classic! I am so excited to finally bring the beloved functional garages from The Sims 2 Nightlife into The Sims 4.
For this project, I converted the original meshes and animations, and wrote completely new tunings from scratch so that they work flawlessly alongside the Supersportscar mod.
How It Works:
The garage is technically cloned from the Get Famous vault, but it has been entirely reworked to function as a smart garage:
Remote Control: Your Sims can manually open and close the garage door using a remote control.
Full Automation: The door will automatically open when the car is about to leave, close itself once the car has departed, and automatically reopen as soon as your Sim returns home.
What's Included Right Now Since this is an early beta release, there is currently one model of the garage available in 3 different recolors. Once the core functionality is fully polished and finalized, I will be adding brand-new garage models for you to choose from!
⚠️ IMPORTANT MOD REQUIREMENT ⚠️The Get Famous expansion pack is currently required for this mod to work.
⚠️ IMPORTANT MOD REQUIREMENT ⚠️ In order to make this integration possible, I had to update the tuning files for the cars. You MUST download and install v1.7 of the Supersportscar MOD for it to be compatible with these garages. The older versions will not work with this system!!!

Fixed an issue where Sims would walk through the closed garage door (clipping through the mesh). Now, the garage door is properly locked and unlocked by the Sim, meaning Sims can only pass through it when it is unlocked. For the time being, I highly recommend adding a second access door to your garages so your Sims can route properly!

Hi Alex. Coming back with the feedback! I love it. Wish there was an option when Sim is exiting or entering the garage autonomously to open the door first, because for now they just came throgh the door like it was invisible. And also cannot wait for the other models of this garage! Excited for the updates.
Hi! Thanks so much for the feedback, really glad you're enjoying it! Just to clarify: when your Sims enter or exit autonomously, are they completely walking through the closed door, clipping right through the mesh as if it wasn't there?
