🔓Animated Dressers MOD BETA (v0.5) - Only 5 Base Game dressers animated for now!
Hello Simmers!
The animation is currently only applied to the "Change Outfit" and "Try new Outfit" and "plan new outfit" interaction. I will be bringing the animations to all other interactions in upcoming versions!
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: This mod is an OVERRIDE. This means it will overwrite the original game object. However, the item will still display the typical custom content icon in the catalog. As always, when testing mods that alter game files, it is highly recommended to back up your save files before installing.
I am already hard at work converting the rest of the Base Game dressers! In the coming weeks, I will be hosting polls exclusively for the BETA TESTER and EARLY ACCESS tiers so you can decide which dressers I should prioritize next for the mod's conversion. 📊

Added 3 new base game dressers with full animations and sounds.
The "close dresser" interaction is now uncancelable by the user, ensuring drawers are never left open.
Fixed catalog overrides: the custom content wrench icon will no longer appear on these default dressers.

Added 2 new dressers with full animations, including an IKEA-style storage unit with pull-out cube bins.
Adjusted and raised the hand position during the extraction animation to better align with the pull-out storage bins.
Expanded animation support to additional dresser interactions: Sims will now open and close drawers when choosing "Plan Outfit" and "Try on Outfits".

Its not working for me. Does the mod only work for specific dressers?
Hi! Yes, it only works with specific base game dressers that are listed in the mod's description. Do you happen to have the Get Famous expansion pack installed? Also, try testing the mod completely on its own, temporarily remove your other mods from the Mods folder to see if there is a conflict.
