SUPERSPORTSCAR UPDATE v1.4: The "Go for a drive" Update is Here!
First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the last poll. Your feedback is driving this mod forward (literally!), and I’m thrilled to announce that the winning feature is now officially part of the Supersportscar Conversion Mod v1.4.
Here’s what’s under the hood in this update:
🌟 New Feature: "Go for a Drive"
You asked for it, and it’s here! Your Sims can now take the Supersportscar out for a spin.
The Experience: Sims will now leave the lot to enjoy the open road while you, the player, remain on the home lot.
Motive Gains: While they are out, their motives will dynamically change perfect for a mood boost or a relaxing getaway.
Social Cruising: This isn't just for solo drivers! I’ve added functionality for Sims to "Go for a Drive" together with another Sim.
✨ Smooth Transitions & New Animations
I’ve heard your feedback regarding the "jumping" and snapping issues. This update focuses heavily on immersion:
Smooth Fades: No more sudden resets! I’ve implemented a smooth fade-out effect for both the car and the Sims when they depart.
The "Return Home" Sequence: I’ve added a brand-new animation for when your Sims return. You’ll now see the car actually pull back into the driveway/lot, making the experience feel much more realistic.
🌍 Localization
The WooHoo Interaction just got more inclusive! I’ve added official translations for the custom Buffs/Moodlets in the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French, German,Portuguese

I really appreciate what you did here, as many simmers like myself have waited ages for something like this. Please consider making more car models, as you could meet the needs of many simmers, and make a great profit.
Love the car but was wondering about a station wagon (70's style🙄) to pile all the kids in also for those family vacations 😁

Simply amazing!! I'm your new follower and I'm learning to make mods like these, very complex and I can say that you rocked this project of making a functional car because it's a very complex job and you executed it very well! If possible in the future, could you add other car models?

Incredible work, we really needed a mod like this! I'm just wondering if you plan to make other car models too. The sport car is amazing, but I just don't see my broke sims using it XD (sorry for any mistakes english is not my first language)

i love it. i have a few questions, can you try to make animations for when sims go to work/school, and other rabbithole too where sims disappear off lot (including other modded ones if possible), did this update add a arrival sequence animation to the car, and can you make sims drive the car longer before they disappear, and lastly a grocery where you have your sim go grocery shopping and you can buy stuff, and possibly more car models.
First of all, this is amazing. Thank you so much for your work, now I'm wondering if it would be possible to do this for sims when going to work? Like Sims 2 when they used their cars if selected.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the update. I’m already looking into a "Go to Work" and "Go to School" feature! It’s quite a technical puzzle because it involves modifying a lot of internal game tunings to get the behavior just right, but it’s definitely on my to-do list for a future update. Stay tuned!
