And now the news: As some of you know, we've enlisted the help of a coder friend who's making some incredible devtools for me to work much more comfortably than what we've managed to come up with so far. Ren'py isn't the ideal place to do the kind of stuff Akanoes has managed it to do, so my friend is doing some coder magic to port the game to his OWN engine.

Don't worry, it'll have all of the features Ren'py has (skipping, rollback, saving...) but it will also have a script editor, a scene builder, it'll be able to read PSD files and automatically add its layers to the game WITHOUT EXPORTING AND IMPORTING, an animation editor... so much, guys. I'll send you a full feature list as soon as he sends it to me.

I was going to make a post right away with a small sample of the game running on the new engine but Patreon won't let me so I'll share in Discord. I guess it'll just look like the game as it is now XD, but hey, it's a proof of concept.
