What's new in Plumfruit Essentials 2.0?
Lots of new features and improvements! Let's get started!
📱New PlumPhone UI: the PlumPhone UI is making a comeback! Use this new Phone UI override to enhance the look of the in-game phone, with new apps and features! Featuring colourful wallpapers, and 40 swatches! You can now chose between many colours for the back of your PlumPhone!
📳 Phone Interactions and Apps Overhaul: all the phone interactions in the UI have been overhauled, and re-destributed into special apps, so they are easier to find. For example, you can call a contact, or do a video call with the "Phone" app. Or, use the "Wallet" app to view and pay your bills and taxes!
🤳 NEW - PlumPhone Air 2 - Functional Phone Device: the physical device is coming back too! Purchase the PlumPhone Air 2 in the Build/Buy catalogue, and use it as your phone and personal device from your inventory! Featuring an animated screen and all phone UI interactions, wherever your sim is!
🐞Bug Fixes and Improvements: a bunch of bug fixes and improvements based on your reports, to improve stability (full changelog down below!)

Also, I will be updating Luminova soon with a new Lights Pro mod, that will be fully cross comptabile with this new Plumfruit Essentials version! A few months ago I announced The Plumfruit Collection and two new mod kits, Retrofruit and Plumfruit Essentials. You can watch the trailer here on my YouTube channel, and read the full post announcement here
Say hello to Plumfruit Essentials, a brand new mod kit featuring some of your favourite Plumfruit device types: phone, tablets, computers, and more! This mod kit is kind of a reimagining of Plumfruit Lite, a mod kit with more simple items I released just before I stepped away from Sims modding three years ago. But everything here is brand new: simpler code, better stability, and better design than ever before!
What’s included?
📱 PlumPhone Air– A stylish new phone replacement with a custom animated screen and PlumfruitOS visuals. For now, it’s available in one swatch: Titanium, and this is just the first of a new generation of Plumfruit phones.
There are also new app icons I designed for your UI Phone, that match the interactions and categories! Now please be careful: the PlumPhone Air and the new app icons are overriding some of the game's items, interactions and categories! Any other mod overriding the phone will conflict! Also, please note that there is only one swatch available for now! Some players have been asking for the PlumPhone Air to be a seperate download, would you like that? Let me know in the comments down below!
💻 PlumPad Air & PlumPad Mini – These elegant tablets come with a completely overhauled interaction menu, now sorted into apps with all-new icons for easier accessibility, similar to what I’ve done with CheatsMaster and Luminova. These icons will be shared across all Plumfruit devices (and the next Luminova update too!)
🖥️ iPlum Air & PlumBook Air – A futuristic all-in-one desktop and a sleek laptop companion. Both come with 15 beautiful wallpapers, a minimalist black-screen swatch, and new apps like Mail, Web Explorer, Notes, and more.
🔊 PlumPod Max & PlumPod Mini – These are for all the music lovers out there! Great sound quality, colourful swatches, animated screens, smart home features (compatible with Luminova), and access to Plumfruit’s virtual assistant, Neo.
If you have my Luminova Mod Kit installed, there are already some features that are cross-comptaible, and there will be soon another update expanding the features!
🎧 PlumBuds – A stylish replacement for the EarBuds from the Fitness Stuff Pack – required for them to show up and work! With an overhauled menu and custom icons for a smoother, more modern feel. (This is also an override and it will conflict with any other mod replacing the EarBuds!)
📸 PlumCam Future – A high-end camera with three lenses and a massive touchscreen at the back. It works just like the in-game HD cameras, but with an updated futuristic design (perfect to take pictures to store on Retrofruit storage units when it comes out!)
📺 PlumTV – Running PlumfruitOS (just like the Luminova Smart TV), this new TV features rounded corners, a selection of new screensavers, and sleek modern lines.
You can also use the animated TV Backlight from Luminova with this new TV!

Updated App Icon Designs for the UI Phone, and Pie Menu Category Icons
New Phone UI OVERRIDE (make sure you don't use other mods overriding the same features, it might cause conflict!)
Added custom wallpapers for the phone, and 40+ swatches to chose from in the phone UI menu!
Phone Interactions OVERHAUL (it's also an override that might cause conflict with other mods)
New Icons for the Notebook, Phone, and Calendar in the menu bar (override)
New PlumPhone Air 2 Functional Object, featuring all apps and features of the UI Phone, plus features and apps from the PlumPad (gaming, web search, etc.) with an animated screen. Featuring the same 40+ swatches as the PlumPhone Air UI object.
Updated computer categories and file manager interactions
Fixed the Plumfruit Computers code to try to prevent issues some of you have been experimenting! It should also improve cross-compatibility with other Plumfruit Collection mods (FutureFruit and RetroFruit). Please confirm with me if issue is solved with this update!
Fixed some interactions that could display a blank name
Fixed an issue that would link PlumPad Air and PlumPad mini devices into one object in the Build/Buy mode

How to Install
Download the file attached down below: "Arnie_Plumfruit_Essentials_2.0.package" (or the Arnie_Plumfruit_Essentials_2.0_UNMERGED folder for those who want seperate items! Download and install only one of these two options!)
Put it in your Mods folder (and enable mods in the game's settings) and make sure you don't have other mods overriding the same items!
Enjoy :) You can find the items by searching for "Plumfruit" or "Arnie" in the build/buy searchbar
