What should OSW review for Christmas?
Heya boyos!
We're BARRELLING down the finish line for All Out Chicago (I'm hoping it's on NoggerU next week!) so I'm looking ahead to December. I'd love some suggestions for the Christmas episode this year (comment below!)
It can be anything! e.g. wwf, wcw, ecw, awa, ppv, film, TV show, PPV... anything!
It just has to have a strong Christmas theme 🎄
If you see someone else's suggestion you like, please ♥️ their comment so I know it's something you want!
Sláinte 🍻

I think Santa with Muscles is going to be hard to beat but I'd be remiss not to point out that 'Winter's Tale' (2014) is one of the most relentlessly baffling films I've ever seen - and I don't just mean among popcorn flicks. Arthouse films like 'The Fountain' and 'Valhalla Rising' were way less mystifying. As a little teaser, Satan is in it... ...and he's played by Will Smith. I swear, there's not a single moment of that movie where you won't be wondering why the filmmakers made at least one of the choices onscreen (except the classic black hat/white hat Heel... horse vs. Babyface horse fight. That's just solid booking).
Santa with Muscles. Has Hulk Hogan in it and is apparently horrible lol
Something with Super Dragon
Starcade 88 - December 26th, 1988. It has Luger
Have you've done December to Dismember? Everyone talks about how bad it is but idk why.
They did and it's worth a watch if you get a chance!
Review every Futurama christmas episode!!
Santa’s Slay it’s a masterpiece!! Unfortunately no Chris Masters though
The Snowman.
We gave OOC all the clues.
Santa with Muscles with cunt Hogan or Santa’s Slay with Goldberg
Jingle all the way simply because Paul white has a small appearance or a full review of the dx Christmas episode
He-Man and She-Ra: A Christmas Special
If the guys watched Masters of the Universe back in the day, this is an extremely strong choice. Phelan from the Baywatching crossovers already did an amazing one (in case you haven't seen it) but the lads' spin on it would be so different that it'd be awesome to have both.
Imma throw in awe (awesome wrestling entertainment) night of the legends from 2012
I say Home Alone or Die Hard.
Second this. I was trying to remember if they did Home Alone already, but I'd be down for a double header with 1 & 2.
Movie: Jingle All The Way Wrestling: In Your House: Season's Beatings
Again, I'm going to think outside the box and go with "Bad Santa." It's a very underrated Christmas movie that I feel doesn't get enough love along with the likes of "Home Alone," "It's a Wonderful Life," and the million different adaptations of "A Christmas Carol." But what other Christmas movie will you get to see Billy Bob Thornton punch a little person in the dick? I mean come on, no contestu (or however its spelled when V1 says it).
A bit selfish but, hey, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. How about my #1 favorite Christmas movie of all time, Black Christmas from 1974? It was written and directed by the same guy who did A Christmas Story AND Porky's! It's a sorority slasher movie that pre-dates just about every other entry in the genre, as well as pioneered several conventions present in many of the later films (Halloween, Friday the 13th, When a Stranger Calls, etc) It has a dynamite cast of Keir Dullea, John Saxon (of Nightmare on Elm Street fame), Margot Kidder (Lois Lane in the Chris Reeve Superman movies!), Lynne Griffin, Art Hindle, and the lovely Olivia Hussey (from Romeo and Juliet, Jesus of Nazareth and the It 1990 TV movie) It's pretty old, not owned by a major movie studio (so copyright might be pretty easy to navigate) and its available on the Peacock, so all 3 of you might already have access to it! I know this is totally out of left field and very unlike something you lads would normally review, but I am really passionate about this movie and I would LOVE to see my 3 favorite Irish brahs tell me what they think of my favorite Christmas movie!
Probably FAR too short-notice, but I would LOVE to know your extended thoughts on Spider-Man 2 (or even both games).
Whatever the Smokey Mountain choice was from last year. Nothing says christmas like ginger nip hair
Doctor Who The End of Time Parts 1 and 2
Paul Wight's Jingle all the way.
Wrestling: The RAW Christmas episode from 1999, mainly because it prominently features The Mean Street Posse. Non-Wrestling: The It's Always Sunny Christmas special.
Batman Returns
Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny - Infamously bad movie starring the most inept Santa in history
You basically gotta: A full official episode on Raw’s Christmas 97 episode.
Spirited (2022 Film) with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell
DIE HARD
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
Beach Brawl 1991 from Herb Abrams' UWF. Terry Gordy vs. Johnny Ace. Bob Backlund defeated Ivan Koloff. Wet'N'Wild (Steve Ray and Sunny Beach) defeated Cactus Jack and Bob Orton, Jr. (with John Tolos), among others.
ECW's Massacre on 34th Street
Canadian stampede
Anything from TNA or AEW or WWE <3 Cheers and Happy Holidays!
"Christmas from Baghdad" aka the 1st Tribute from the Troops
It's pretty well treaded territory but Santa versus the Martians is so amazing.
In Your House 5 Seasons Beatings, so much you guys could have fun taking the piss out of Savio Vega gets attacked by Xanta Klaus, Santa's evil brother, HHH vs Henry Godwinn in a Hog Pen match, Taker vs King Mabel coffin match. Plus a Bret vs Bulldog title match.
Johnny Mnemonic! Keanu Reeves, Ice T, Dolph Lungren, Takeshi Kitano and a telepathic dolphin.
Santa With Muscles, preferably with Allison and Phelon
A Muppets Christmas Carol. My favorite interpretation of the Charles Dickens classic
The Star Wars holiday special or the Raw where Alberto Del Rio ran over Santa
Gotta be jingle all the way!!
jingle all the way 2 or santa's slay, cannot think of any christmas wrestling stuff
I'd like to see the Xmas Eve episode of RAW from 2001, highlights include new brah of OSW Maven vs Booker T (Respeccc) an eggnog divas match a backstage xmas party that results in a match plus an Undisputed Title match featuring Jericho, Rock & Angle
I think you guys would make a great review of the Goldberg Christmas horror movie! Barring that, there was an episode or two of Raw at the end of 1997 that featured some Santa shenanigans that nobody really talks about. Vader in disguise, I think Stone Cold stunners a Santa... that would be a fun review.
I think we need to see the lads review “Jingle all the way” you got Arnold, Jake Lloyd, a big show appearance, and Phil Hartman! It’s my fave Christmas movie of all time
And the sequel is real bad and has non accent Santino Marella and Larry the cable guy
Goldberg Santa’s Slay
Gonna throw in some garbage by suggesting ‘Santa’s Summer House’, from the director of ‘A Talking Cat!?!’, David DeCoteau. A whopping 2.4 IMDb score guarantees a holiday classic that will stick with you for years.
Anything where you have to say the name PAUUUULLL a bunch
Maybe the greatest Christmas movie of all time, Die Hard. It was a longshot, but I rooted for WCW last year. With the release of Iron Claw, my suggestion might be a little bit more relevant. Merry Christmas everyone!
Santa with muscles has to happen at some point right!
Couple of suggestions: WCW Monday Nitro Dec 25th 1995 (has macho vs flair), the Xanta Klaus story line (WWF), WWE Raw Dec 24th 2001 (has Bubba claus VS Tajari Claus, Wilson vs Keibler in an egg nog match).
Backlash 2000!! My personal favourite PPV event of all time. Rock & Austin are faces, but not friends. But they both are battling against the McMahon-Helmsley regime. Vince and Stephanie are pure heels, joined by Shane, Patterson and Brisco. The build up storyline was incredible. The PPV - including the undercard - is superb. The ending is the LOUDEST crowd pop I've heard. And best of all - pure bollix surrounds it, and it's so much fun!!!! To me, there was never a non-Mania PPV that beat it. And....it has a 5 star singles match between Malenko and my BOY Scotty 2 Hotty 👏
Tokyo Godfathers, the great Satoshi Kon movie!
An AEW Holiday Bash would be great. It’s great hearing the brahs talk AEW, whether it’s marking out over great wrestling or taking the piss…
Santa With Muscles! Hulk Hogan's 1996 Christmas movie with an amazing 2.6 score on IMDB.
Forget the slightly enjoyable "Jingle all the Way," how about its sequel starring Larry the Cable Guy and Santino with his real voice? JINGLE ALL THE WAY 2: it's real and it's not as bad as you think, but way worse than you hope.
Thought I would put forward a couple of things. For actual wrestling Raw at the end of 1999 is a great episode for utter carnage as russo has just left but wwe still are trying to keep up his car crash tv while adding longer matches so it's a weird mix. Like a lot of people IHY Season's Beatings is actually a underrated ppv with an Xmas theme. For anything not related to wrestling I would choose Xmas episode of Father Ted or Bottom would be a great shout. For movie Jingle all the way, Muppets Xmas Carol or National Lampoon's Xmas vacation. Thanks lads keep up the great work
ECW Holiday Hell 95 is on the network. Sabu V Cactus. Dreamer V Raven. Pitbulls Gary and Anto. AND 2 cold scorpios giant dick. Sounds like Christmas to me
In Your House: Season's Bollocks.
santas slay with Goldberg!
Gremlins 2. Holiday movie + The Hulkster, best of both worlds brother!
Late late toy show
WWE Christmas Collection DVD. I won it in a competition from wwedvd.com! It's ..... not brilliant.... But you 3 would make it hilarious!
Deadly Games. Imagine Home Alone but the Wet Bandits are replaced with a dog killing paedo Santa Claus
Knowing Me Knowing Yule. Or Santas Slay with Goldberg
WCCW Christmas Star Wars 1982 With Iron claw coming out I think some WCCW love would be fun to see the boys review!!!
I'll go Santa's summer house or a wrestling christmas miracle. Yes those are both real films.
Or our favorite CLINT's Christmas movie, Santa with Muscles.
I've seen a few Jingle All the Way and Father Ted recommendations, which I would be up for seeing. I would personally love to see you guys review The Muppet Christmas Carol, mainly because it is my favourite Christmas film, which I watch every year.
Jingle All The Way with a pre new year's baby - Giant Santa Paul Wight
Halloween Havoc 2023. It has Tv3 weatherman Martin King, and despite the name, NXT is basically a Christmas allegory
Has to be Home Alone with OOC mark The Culk
Christmas Raw from 1999- start of the McMahon-Helmsley Era so Steph and Trips are all over the show, a triple threat tag match between the APA, the Dudleys and Mae Young and Moolah, The Rock vs heel Al Snow and WWF Champion Big Show (wrestling in a sleeveless shirt over his trunks) defending against Kane in the main event.
Christmas in Wonderland…. It’s got p. Swayze, it’s got Carmen Electra, it’s got Christmas in a mall…. Oh and Chris Kattan, it’s a whole of bollocks.
Knowing me knowing yule
OSW double feature of 2 terrible wwe Christmas movies
Unfortunately, most Christmas themed wrestling events are the bad type of bollocks! 😄 My suggestions: 1) Saturday Night's Main Event IV (recorded 19 Dec 1985), featuring Hulk Hogan vs Terry Funk. or 2) AEW Holiday Bash 2021, featuring Punk, Sting & Darby vs. MJF & FTR on Dynamite, and Sammy Guevara vs. Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship on Rampage.
Die Hard.
The Christmas Wish WWE Episode where Santa Mick gives Hornswoggle the ability to speak.
Foleys santa claus doc
Would probably be better for New Year's Day, but the night Mankind won the WWF title. That'll put some put some butts in the seats!
I 2nd this
Santa's Slay with Goldberg!
I second this!
Starrcade 89 - Sting / Flair Iron man Match. Christmas + return to Old School Wrestling reviews
Invasion 2001
Die Hard
I still think there's a market for Two and a Half Meeeeennnn
Royal Rumble 97. The show that kicked off the attitude era, and the fun of the Mexican day labourers “it’s the Latin lover!”
I did not read the original comment properly 😂. Fr ted would be great
Thunder. Any episode.
Would love to see Father Ted and IYH: Season's beatings.
Shitter’s full so please laugh the loving tits out of Chevy Chase’s classic Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Carol. Review the worst version of the story you can find.
Santa With Muscles starring Hulk Hogan brother!
In Your House: Season Beatings.
Father Ted Christmas special featuring Father Ted retrospective. The Yanks would love it ❤️🇮🇪.
The Christmas episode of raw where dx takes over and the first Christmas smackdown!! Would be hype
I am pretty sure they did DXmas last year. It should be up in NoggerU
Got to be Jingle All The Way. Failing that; In Your House Seasons Beatings!
Santa’s Little Helper - Starring The Miz w/Paige
Batman Returns. My favorite Christmas movie
Goldberg Santa Slaying, Santa with muscles, Foley’s Christmas books
Raw Christmas 1999. Proper HHH/Steph bollocks. A boiler room brawl with Santa’s and more
Santa's Slay. Santa Goldberg
Home Alone, has to be
Santa’s slay and/or Krampus would be awesome! Still riding the high of Hard Ticket to Hawaii and I want more movie review!
Let's get Hogan back on OSW - Santa With Muscles.
Seasons Bearings In Your House
Dude I'd be so down! 😂
In Your House: Seasons Beatings. It was on the poll last year and just look at what's on the card. - Xanta Claus - HHH in a pig-pen match - Taker/Mabel in a Casket Match - Bret v Bulldog for the title Then you also have Ahmed Johnson, Marty, Lil Bitch, Sid and Backlund on the card. Sounds good to me!
DUCK ARSE!!!
In Your House Seasons Beatings. The utter bollix of Xanta Claus, Duck Arse, Hog Pen match, and a good Bret v Bulldog main event
Put me down for the movie "trading places"
Santa’s Slay seems a good bad movie choice, Krampus, Gremlins and it’s a wonderful life are some good movies. Wrestling talk about the Xmas RAW were ADR hits Santa Foley with his car and fights Cena in a Xmas street fight. Classic line by Cena “St Nick is a Saint”
Home Alone 1990
I wonder how Mack would feel about this one? He'd definitely see it.
Prime Time Wrestling (12/25/89). Piper defending the honor of Santa! Classic I was just a lil nogger when this aired. Other choice Star Wars Holiday Special 😂
Thought of another Holiday wrestling thing, Santa's Little Helper. It's a WWE Studios movie staring The Miz, Maryse and PAIGE HERE
If we go by the “it has a Christmas scene is it counts” This year's Bollywood action movie Jawan is amazing. Stars SRK, the biggest movie star in the world that the West has never heard of playing both the father and son heroes. It has one scene where one of the heroes and the little girl talk about Santa Claus so it counts right?
Forget this Christmas shite, wrestlemania 22
Home Alone 2
Father Ted Christmas Special
A film review of Santa's Slay (Goldberg's Santa slasher flick) would be awesome! It's absolute madness, so I feel like you three would have all sorts of fun reviewing it.
Movie review - The Miz in Christmas Bounty!
Armageddon 2004, The Miz’s PPV Debut, Some insane Taz commentary, Dawn Marie and Al Wilson, Rey and RVD’s short lived tag run, Kurt Angle assaults Santa, plus a sick fatal four way in the main event
Goldberg in Santa’s Slay
Gonna go with 2 obvious ones, Santa With Muscles (Hogan as Santa) or Santa's Slay (Goldberg as Santa). Personally I'd love to see a Santa's Slay review, plenty of horror movie cheese that I think would work well with the OSW style
TLC 2010. A December PPV that’s got Kane VS Edge bollocks with Bearer, King Shemo, The Nexus VS Cena too and The Miz as WWE Champion.
I would very much like to hear you lads talk about Chris Jericho starring in "Country Hearts Christmas. " that would really jingle my bells
Of mice and men....and men
WWE Raw (Tribute to the Troops) - December 23, 2005
Last year I found my new favorite Christmas movie, Last Train To Christmas. It was a BBC special that I can’t find anywhere online. Michael Sheen is able to time travel by going forward and backward on the train. Really fun stuff
Stone Cold Stuns Santa The 1st AEW Forbidden Door Goldberg wins the WCW title or Fingerpoke of Doom
Jingle All the Way featuring…WEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL IT’S THE BIG SHOW!!!
Starcade 1997 Sting vs Hogan
I floated this to the lads during last year's Xmas Nitro episode and they're like, no - that's the main event of a WCW arc! So ok 😂 I slipped in some bits during last year's episode so
🎄 heavy christmas theme lads, christmas! lol 🎄
The Muppet Christmas Carol!!! You won't
Yes this!!!
For a film review: the Hulk Hogan Christmas classic Santa With Muscles.
Survivor Series 97
2 and a Half Men
Jingle All The Way. Big Show dressed as Santa fighting Arnold. So there you go you got a wrestling connection even if you didn’t need it.
The hogfather
I’d love to see you guys talk about the 2012 Christmas episode of raw when del Río ran over Santa
Jingle all the Way (with Big Show cameo)
The 2001 Christmas Episode of Raw is War. aka The dueling parties between Vince and Flair
Jingle All The Way - featuring Big Show as Santa!
Review the episode of raw where Alberto del rio runs over Santa
The episode that caused me to give up my streak of watching every episode of Raw weekly since episode one. I don't think I came back for months after that one. So that's got a lot of bollocks for OSW to riff on.
Chyna porn, cos her steroid-inflated clit kind of looks like a yule log.
SURVIVOR SERIES 97
Wrestlemania 20
May be daunting, but I’m thinking of just the “good seasons” of Simpsons Xmas episodes.
If you really look at it, the Simpsons didn't do many specific Christmas episodes in the early years. You had the first episode, and then it wasn't until season 7 that they did another, then it became a tradition after season 9.
The Santa Clause!!!
