I know you talked about Cornette rant after Triple H winning the belt that it shows it was prepared. There is a another line like that when Shawn doing the fake crying because he lost and Cornette says that "Shawn Michaels always cries when he comes to this town" because this match took place in the same building that Shawn did the lost his smile speech.
I think Cornette most likely had/has a ton of synonyms ready for any occasion tbf. The only issue is a lot of his tried and tested schpiel hasn't aged particularly well.
Last thing this episode has my fave Triple H quote. This is his greatest day, other than his kid being born, he doesn't have a kid - that he knows of. Makes me laugh. That joke is harder to tell if you are female. :p
Also how do you find out things like someone went scuba diving for the tag title? I never knew that. I always learn something new in an OSW episode.
oh thanks! I read/listen up as many sources (newsletters podcasts etc) i can find and then integrate it with my own notes before we record
I wonder if Austin didn't getca massive reaction because it was taped after a long Raw taping. That crowd would have already seen Austin in the belt tossing segment. Just wondering.
