OSW Update! (July 2021)
Ho dere!
Thought I'd check in with ya, hope you're getting to enjoy a bit of sunshine! 23° and us irish are DYING! How's it where u are and what's your perfect temperature? Mine's around 15 (59F) u can convert here from Freedom units!
Anywoo here's what's going down in Groovestown!
End of May: OSW99 AEW Revolution
Over 170k and tons of lovely feedback, thank u! I've also released over a half-hour of Deleted Scenes (covering Dynamite and BTE as well!). it hasn't gone public because it never got cleared by AEW, and I don't want to risk the channel over it (in case they decide the strike the main review and this one, if u get 3 strikes, the channel goes down!)
End of June: OSW100 Heroes of Wrestling! Ah u guys are the best. Really appreciate the love u guys give us!
Early July: I recently put out the half hour deleted scenes / Jay commentary of it, hope u dug it, and got a peek behind the curtain! I never know how interesting it is showing u how eps are made (plus it shows u how insane I am needling everything 😆) so lemme know what ya thought in the comments!
This one was claimed too, by WWE (over the 20s of clips of All American Wrestling Marty footage) but that should be cleared up in a few weeks. Oddly a different company claimed Heroes of Wrestling itself, and I know it wasn't Bill Stone 😆 but probably some copyright trolls. But they're too lazy to fight it so it'll be hopefully free of all that in a few weeks.
Also released was the New Arc Trailer (speak to me WAW-YAHSSSS! Warrior in WCW storyline)
And our first ever 4K video, Minecraft Macho! The watchmen song used was by Ryan Probert, if u want the mp3/flac/wav donate any amount to his wife's surgery and I'll send it to you (as well as nice words!)
So with all that finally out the door, we can start a new production cycle!
OSW 101 is Warrior's Debut on Nitro; which is being video-edited at the mo! The ep is full of good stuff like a Warrior retrospective and revisiting famous and infamous wrestlers (esp in an OSW sense), plus V1's break-downs of the rip-off WCW music! It's a lot of fun and will be about 90mins long. It depends on how WWE are with copyright but we're looking at first half of next month.
We recorded 2 more NoggerU film reviews! They're quite big ones so we got Maffew on board to join myself and V1 (first time ever for NU vids!). It's Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 films 🐲 I don't have a timeframe as they'll be quite complicated! But they're whopper, I'm still laughing out loud at jokes made while editing audio 🙂
and OSW102 is War Games / Fall Brawl 98, which'll be the next things we record with OOC!
You might notice I'm placing more of an emphasis on OSW episodes and deleted scenes vids; I figure you guys might be more interested in those rather than random solo Playlist reviews. I still write up reviews / thoughts on em; eg I watched Till Death with Megan Fox (don't bother, watch Gerald's Game instead) and played through Horizon Zero Dawn, but haven't figured out what to do with em yet. But lots of plates spinning as always!
It's the weirdest thing, there's a ton of managerial overseeing to do which is separate to my own editing; like I'll spend half the day sorting stuff with artists, animators, musicians etc and feel like I've gotten nothing done! I know these aspects don't really matter for reviews but hopefully all these little bits and bobs make it that much more awesome. Getting artwork back and shaping random artwork for use during episodes, eagerly awaiting what Adam and Ruben (my animators!) and seeing what they come up with is a treat!
So TL/DR?
• OSW101 Warrior Nitro is coming along amazing; out on NoggerU first half of August, and publicly a bit later when it clears WWE copyright
• MK1 and MK:A film reviews (~hour each) being video edited at the moment
Anyway I'll stop banging on, enjoy your week my brahs and bras!
Love jay 💚

I live near Los Angeles so am used to warmer temps. My ideal temperature is around 80-85F (26-29C) assuming I don't have to do any physical labor outdoors. If I do drop it by roughly 10 degrees F.
Oh man you would have hated it here in Oregon a few weeks back. It was 109F(around 43C) here and was fucking miserable lol. Ideal temp would definitely be around 70F(21C) for me
The wife and I donated, nice job on the signal boost! Ideal temperature: 65° F/18.3°C, but I enjoy seasonal variation.
Can of coke to you and the missus! 💚 V kind of ya mate
I trust it’s a three hour episode of Nitro which shows even the 3 hour wrestling tv shows back then were a bad idea if you don’t have content packed in
If you think 23°C/73°F is too warm for you, New York has been hit with several days of 32°C/90°F+ weather. Personally I prefer around 18°C/65°F. Cool enough to wear pants but don't need a jacket.
Cant wait for the WCW arc, 97-99 WCW was my jam. I hope some of my boys make an appearance. The work you put into OSW is just staggering, the show never feels half assed. Feels like since the new gen arc the shows production values just keep getting higher and the work and detail you put into the show does not go unnoticed. I just subbed to the top tier and wondered where I make a request for the movie review to be tossed into the hat. Thanks brah :)
Appreciate the kind words mate! That's mental of ya man, that's way too much cashola! It's for peeps on the tier in general so u'd be better off waiting a few months 😆 but here's the link if u could comment in it! https://www.patreon.com/posts/6163558
Ideal temperature: about 15-20c without a humidex. I can’t wait for this arc, Halloween Havoc 98 was the first ppv I watched live. True bollocks lol
Ho dere! Texas here. while i prefer a nice 60-70F (15-21 C) It usually gets up to 107 (41 C) here in the summer which makes my skin have the same complexion of a screaming Ric Flair! lol Cant wait for the next video! Going to donate this afternoon <3
Hey Mr. Hunter. Thanks for the update Brah. I also like to keep things chill at 19°-20° Celsius. I also shared this link to my stable. https://www.gofundme.com/f/lifesaving-surgery-for-teacher-rae
Canadian here. My perfect temperature is like 17C with a breeze. It’s been 30+ here and I’m dying
30 with like 7-9 more. With the heel... "Humidity"!
Thanks for the update. All the best to Ryan and his wife. I know the brahs come together to crush that gofundme target. Maybe Virgil can donate a tenner.
Thanks for the update Jay, looking forward to all the new content. It's set to reach a miserable 42.2 C (108 F) here in Central California. Sending love and a bit of cash (wish it could be so much more) to help to Rae, hoping for the best.
That's v kind of ya mate 💚 Christ on a bike, 42?! Do u just run from car to door and hope to not burst into flames!
Can't wait for OSW 101 With my luck you guys will debut it while I'm at a convention in the 1st week and of August. BTW, 72f here in USA is my perfect temp.
The mortal Kombat reviews sound like they are gonna be epic
I was in Dublin for Go Fest at the weekend and I was dying in the heat. Give me freezing weather any day.
Oh wow! Was there stuff in-person? I thought it was a stay at home event for most peeps (outside like NY and SF etc)
Hyped as all hell to hear you tear into Annihilation. Thought the first movie was pretty good as cheesy as it is at times and still rate it over the 2021 version.
Thank you for everything and all of the content!
