The Last of Us 2 DEEP DIVE! - OSW Playlist

Finally got around to watch the vid! You guys did hell of a job, was a great watch! I loved the Acceptable in the 80s Limp Bizkit Style Remix, is there are full version of it somewhere?

I'm deeply conflicted on whether to watch this. I've long wanted to play Last of US 1 and 2 but never owned a Playstation. I'm almost exclusively a PC gamer. I don't want a ton of spoilers in case they ever release on PC but at the same time, it has already been years without one so it may never happened. You may think your life is tough but look at the choice I'm forced to make!

Loved that review. I hadn't heard of every controversy but you covered them really well. Completely understand the point about the length (Abyss noise). It could've been trimmed slightly and still been a fantastic game. It was incredibly grim too, but it kept me gripped till the end. A dark room and the foetal position was needed after though! Some effort put in with all the research and spliceys! Great stuff lads.

Jay ya fookin Animal Ya! Really awesome to see you guys review this! I loved TLOU2 and it's awesome to watch you guys talk about it in a more positive light than I was expecting. I don't think I could handle another video banging on about how they hated it/story bad/plot bad/abby bad/Cuckmann bad etc. Adored the WM XSeven OSW My Way vid with Abby and Ellie Jay. Top work on the Ghost Ship segment too. Awesome part of the game, absolutely awesome animation explaining it. Can of coke to you and to Donald Kirby and Ruben R. Perez! I have some thought with one with V1 said that i've seen a lot of people say is the game would've worked better if you played Ellie day 1 - Abby day 1, Ellie day 2 - Abby day 2 etc. I do think the climaxas of their resptective missions would've worked way better in having their stories almost culminating at the same time. My only thinking is the game really needs you to empathize with Abby to work, and while hard enough, I think would've been almost impossible if you kept switching back to Ellie after each segment. Maybe that wouldn't be the case, but I think you need to spend a considerable time with her to feel that, or at least I assume that's what Naughty Dog was thinking as conceptually it probably would've worked better switching back and forth. I do disagree with the soundtrack opinions. Thought TLOU2 soundtrack was amazing. As a whole, better than the first, and fit the tone of this game perfectly. I truly sympathize for people who really didn't like the game. I understand not liking it as it just wasn't the follow up to TLOU a lot of people really wanted. It wasn't a Joel/Ellie adventure for a cure part 2, not even close. It was miles away from what anyone could have predicted. The depressing, bleak follow up wasn't gonna work for a lot of people. Playing TLOU2 did make me go back and replay the first plus the DLC and I geniuenly love them even more now after playing TLOU2. My hope is that the same could happen if there's a TLOU3. Maybe shed some brighter light on TLOU2 and make that game more liked than it originally has been. Could talk about this game for days. It was depressing AF, took me two weeks to mentally get over it. It was in no way perfect, but I absolutely loved it. A winner is you lads! Apologizes for the novel. Side-Note: I work in Facial Motion Capture, and we mocapped the actors for the TLOU2 cinematic trailer that you played at the start. Something I've worked on has made it on to the OSW Multiverse!

Felt so surreal hearing you talk about easy allies! I’ve been a fan of theirs for so long, it was like YouTube worlds colliding. And then ya buried my boys! I do still trust them, but agree with yiu thst the should have addressed a lot more in the review- which is more a fault of their review process/editorial style (being hyper sensitive of spoilers while judging the game in a vacuum) than the reviewer- who is a safe guy, imo. As for this review, I loved it! Completed the second play through just a week ago. found myself enjoying and appreciating the story and level design so much more. Sorry for such a long comment haha/ thanks again- can’t wait to get more cash together and get myself the famous OS DUB mug!

Everything is good! Lockdown is lifting partially in 2 weeks in Scotland. I’m used to my broken foot and now I can play TLOU2 on PS5. Buzzing for the AEW episode. Also used your TLOU review to sneaky sneaky 2 people into wrestling

Most everything I've seen and heard about this game leads me to the conclusion that I'd rather just pretend only the first one exists, but I'm going to give you lads the fairest shake I can to change my mind. Honestly, I hope you can. But even if not, I have no doubt you'll earn my contribution to the YouTube algorithm with the quality of the review.

I wasn’t in the right head space when this came out due to lockdown and a car crash so I stopped playing around halfway through because the pacing was off. After your review of the first one it’s got me itching to go back to it so I’ll complete that before watching this but godamn I am excited
