OSW Update! (March)

Hiyoooo!
Heya my brahs and brahs, hope ye are doing amaze and getting to enjoy a smidge of the nicer weather 🌞 Here's what's going down in Groovestown:

7th Golden Noggers dropped last weekend! It was a mammoth recording sesh resulting in a 2-hour video. You might be able to tell it was our first recording sesh back, since late September! (we recorded Rumble+ PreShow and Mania XI+pre-show in Sept). Was saddened we couldn't do a proper Christmas show but at least u got to hear some crap Xmas jokes that went unused 😆
Due to Lockdown (Ireland is still in it btw, 2+ months on 😬) I was able to focus on other reviews previously recorded, like the brace of Alan Partridge vids (This Time and From The Oasthouse) and V1's Journey of Wrestling review! When we were able to record in February, we pretty quickly recorded THREE times in case things seize up - so Golden Noggers, The Hobbit, and a WWF vs SWS watchalong!
• The 7th Golden Noggers is out now (and it's doing real well, you guys missed us too!💚)

• The Hobbit is coming along amazing, it's a 1hr40 min extravaganza, including tons of bts and Hobbit-related reviews, I'm really happy how it's turning out. Some classic OSW moments i was still laughing at after fully editing the audio 5 times. We've pulled over 100 bits of splicey (thank u v1!) Chris is editing the film review itself, Jeff is working on the non-film parts, Adam is beavering away on the animated segment, and I've enlisted Paul (@horacedev) a game dev to make some fun transition bits!
I'm not sure when it'll be ready (sometime next month) but I'll give u guys a heads up when it is closer to completion! See after I get the videos back, I usually comb through it and do ~4 passes of my own before it's ready!

Check out the fookin' spelling of their names...!

• SWS vs WWF is one of 2 wrestling PPVs in Japan in the early 90s! It's something i was v curious about, as WWE are generally against co-branding with other wrestling companies (in Vince-land, other companies don't exist); it should be easier to get on youtube (we'll see!) and you guys really responded to the previous Let's Watches despite my constant burial 😆 I feel watching hardcore wrestling gave the format an unfair shake, so we're trying it out with unseen (to most people) Hulkamania Era content! The video is ~3 hours long (longer than the PPV!!) because I do an SWS/WWF in Japan retrospective to kick off - it's gestated into an episode in it's own right! It'll have to go through YouTube copyright clearance, so with any luck it'll be on NoggerU by next weekend (first weekend of April) and public not too long afterwards 🤞

• Fatal Deviation Film Watchalong: Wednesday was Paddy's Day so to celebrate, V1 hosted a live watch of the ENTIRE Fatal Deviation film! I joined in when Skinny Knacker shows up 😆 I'm still not sure how he can multitask talking to me, watching the film, and reading/responding to the chat. Mental! He streams games (wrestling and non-wrestling) weeknights and does live watches of OSW episodes on Saturdays with the missus. Watch along with your favourite irish knackers!

Metal Gear-esque TLOU2 artwork by Kojima Productions Yoji Shinkawa!
The Last of Us & The Last of Us Part 2:
Part 1 will be out this weekend here on NU as the first video pass of TLOU2 is done (I’m hoping to release them publicly on successive Sundays). P1 is ~16mins and was kinda impromptu (it was recorded during V1’s playthrough of TLOU2). P2 is a megaton like, 90+ minute deep-dive!
TL/DR:
Watch now: 7th Golden Noggers
Watch now: Fatal Deviation Watchalong
Watch now: Our first let's watch, IWA King of the Deathmatch 95 (Foley vs Funk!)
Watch now: Let's watch Hardcore Homecoming (right before One Night Stand 2005)
Coming soon: The Hobbit (April)
Coming soon: SWS vs WWF (NU hopefully in 2 weeks)
TLOU 1: NU this weekend!
As always, vids will be published on YouTube when they're cleared for copyright on the Sunday stream! 🤘🙂
