OSW Update! (Jan 18)
Yooooo! Oi dudes, whats going down in groovetown? Hope you're doing amaze, here's your OSW update for January!
Took some time out before starting everything again and I'm feeling much better! Just back into it this week, i kept contact with my editors and artists over the break just to make sure something gets done! Like Chris is working on the next Super OSW video (L5) and I'm getting Jeff to re-edit the Jurassic Park review so it's viewable on YouTube! Universal really, really don't want JP footage on YT, even if it's for a glowing review 🤷♂️ (Over the last while I've been trying to get NU reviews up on YouTube for superior playback!)
ANNOUNCEMENT: WE'RE STAYING OLD SCHOOL!
Biggest news is that we're postponing the Golden Noggers until the end of the arc. That way it'll be closer to the end of the year, and there won't be such a gap between old school PPV reviews!
Similarly, we won't be doing OSWs of Modern Rumble and Mania this year, so we can focus on classic PPV reviews, and NU films & Playlist videos ⚡
So! We'll be recording KOTR94 soon, but before that myself and V1 will get two new NoggerU film reviews on the books (in the pocket, out of sight!). It's gonna be Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and Troll 2!
I've recorded and audio-edited some OSW playlist (solo) reviews and wrote up a decent whack of scripts - mostly horror films that I saw in October - like, Punk's movie, Malcolm in the Middle had one, Elijah Wood had one, and this awesome Thai one called "the pool" where two people are stranded in a drained pool and a croc moseys on in 😂
Bit of BTS: My thought is to record the audio/VO portion and get 'em edited, and then when I get time later on, I'll record the on-screen bit, and sort anything missing/needed to finish it! And voila 🙂 that way I have reviews already halfway done and waiting for final touches. That's the hope anyway!
*Salem voice*: and now you know the secrets....
I don't think I've ever been this on top of comic book artwork for PPVs! The rest of 1994's artwork is being worked on (KOTR, SummerSlam, Survivor Series). Hence the spider-Bret teaser picture i posted earlier in the week 😀
So lots of smaller projects, I'm trying my best to become more efficient/productive, or at least give things a proportional amount of time (ie get more content out quicker if it's NU or Playlist reviews!).
TL/DR!
Golden Noggers at the end of the arc
No Rumble/Mania 2020, focus on old wrestling!
KOTR94: being recorded next week
NU Film Reviews: being recorded next week
Super OSW 64 L5: in production
Next OSW Playlist vid: In production
WM X on YouTube: early Feb (🤞)
Thank you for your support 🙂 the show literally wouldn't be around if it wasn't for you. See ya in the funny pages!
love Jay 💚

I can’t wait to hear you make fun of the commentators voice.
Will King of the Ring 94 include an Art Donovan retrospective?
Bill and Ted, EXCELLENT!
I'm a little disappointed that you're not reviewing the rumble and mania. Hopefully you reconsider when Mo enters at number 30.
Good call Jay- modern stuff is just shite- only good thing was Maffew being the Romeo Roma of the horsemen
I cannot fucking wait for you guys to meet a certain commentator on KOTR. The anger from V1 in particular is gonna be awesome! Keep up the great work Jay. This arc has been my favourite ever!
I just hope for your own sanity you don't go all the way until king of the ring 95
I think this is the right call. The Golden Noggers is the kind of trap that a lot of content creators fall into - it's good for the most hardcore fans but doesn't bring anyone else in. You don't lose a lot by deprioritizing it. I'm not saying you should never provide this kind of material, but it's not where the effort needs to go. Similarly, the Wrestlemanias and Royal Rumbles - there are plenty of places covering that content. You stand out by working on the Old School stuff. Good luck, and don't wear yourself out.
Totally okay with skipping the rumble and mania to focus on classic ppvs and film reviews. I love your film videos and can always watch more. Bogus Journey is so bizarre. Can't wait for Bill and Ted 3 this year.
Saw this post after UFC 246, Mcgregor for the win
We love ya Jay! Know you and the lads will have your own ideas of what you want to do when the current arc comers to an end and if you opened it to suggestions you would be flooded ideas. However I would love you guys to do the first 5+ episodes of the weekly TNA PPV's. # TonsOfBollocks
thanks my dude! We'll have to go back to TNA at some point. Had so much fun doing it!
Not gonna lie, bit disappointed that there will be no modern rumble & mania. Basically because I canceled my sub to the network because fuck 5-8 hour ppvs and I thought, oh the lads of OSW will fill me in on the bullocks that I’ve missed...
LOL. Thanks brah. Tune in to like 1-2 days after the Rumble and i'm sure V1 will give his thoughts on the Twitch stream!
They're eating her and now your gonna review it! OH MY GOD! cannot wait for the troll 2 review it' s gonna be bollocks
i can't wait to shout at V1 over it :P
"See you in the funny pages" is that an O Brother Where Art Thou reference?
lol, i could swear someone in Calvin and Hobbes says it. Not sure where I picked it up but i think it's a nice thought, like i'll see you over breakfast reading the newspaper/comics section :)
Yous always bust your rump to entertains us, and that's what I appreciates about you.
thank you my dude! V kind of u
Awww no modern Rumble and Mania :( Those are the best.
This is quite heartwarming to read. Need some quote of the year maffew back! 😂
Hey Jay, if you're dropping the modern reviews, is there any chance that you'll collab with Maffew on anything else? Really love you guys together.
Cheers brah! I love doing stuff with Maff, maybe we'll review something else later in the year 🙂
Kind of bummed about no modern reviews, but it’s called OSW for a reason. Can’t wait to see what’s next!!
Rock on my brah! 🙂
Brilliant thanks for the update. Fantastic that Bogus Journey is being reviewed- I had mixed emotions of that film lol
Non-heinous!
