WrestleMania X - OSW Review 87
LINKY: OSWreview.com/media/oswreview87/
This is the big kahuna! Bret vs Owen! Razor vs Shawn! Lex vs Yoko! Men on a Mi- nevermind :D
Major thanks to V1 (@V1_OSW) and Chris (@ReloadLastSave) for their help getting this together in time for Xmas day! It was a lot of long, difficult nights sourcing, splicing and re-editing so it's good enough for you guys! It was going to be the January episode, it wasn't until crunch week on Friday where I thought I can actually get the whole thing done - and it did after a quick 30 hours over the weekend lol. I'm so happy it got done and delivered for you! OOC said it couldn't be done, and spite saw us through! :)
I like to pop in a retrospective when I can, like with the Taker Holiday segment at the Rumble, so seeing as Mania X was the third launch of the Women's Division, it seemed fitting for the WWF Women's Title! So I ran through it's lineage from 1956-2010, and also put Finlay and Becky over!! :D I put it up separately on YouTube here!
Thanks to Jeff (@Surberus23) who edited this segment and Carl (@OSWreviewToons) who did the Flintstones/WWE mashup!
The comic artwork was done by Donald Kirby (@DKirbyJ) who also did our Street Fighter/ SummerSlam Lex Yoko artwork! It's a take on the famous WM X photo, but Lex being victorious 🤩
Cool, eh? Anywoo, Rumble '94 and Mania X will be on YouTube late January (hopefully!) hope you dug em! Also glad we got to have time to chat and enjoy the pre-show events (RAW, March to WM) as we watch 'em prior to make sure we cover anything important or funny that sticks out. What did u make of having our Mountain Dew KFC Gold Honey Mustard BBQ Pre-Show as a separate episode? (ie March to Mania was it's own episode?)
On a personal note: Thank you for allowing us to continue this mad experiment. OSW is such a selfish endeavor (it's whatever I find funny or interesting - Irish people talking bollocks, at length, about old wrestling with Simpsons, Partridge and Bottom quotes!) It's not supposed to work or be successful, but thanks to you, the show not only lives, but thrives! I get messages every day from people saying it helps our during tough times, and it's my greatest accomplishment. Some of ye having a slightly better day because of us, it's an immeasurable good feeling. The last 8 years have flown by, here's to the next 8,the next 8 and the next 8!
Here's myself at V1's gaf Christmas eve! Check the awesome Xmas geansais!
Love you guys 😊

What a whopper episode and a fine Christmas gift from our favourite boys at OSW. Thanks Jay for the hard grind to squeeze *V1 squeezey noise* these episodes out.
Merry 🎄 and a happy new year ya filthy animals. Let's hope we all aloha arn our way to rubbish Ronny garbage victory in 2020
OSW is simply amazing, I found you guys by complete accident while talking with one of my work friends about the first Spider-Man movie, and when he brought up BONE SAW, and had no idea what he was one about, he gave me the name of your podcast and website. I sat down that night and watched the first 10 episodes, one after another (Including the Pilot), and I was hooked. I got INTO wrestling because of you guys, and now every Monday I hang out with my ma reliving the Monday night wars with her like she did with my dad back when he was still alive. You’ve not only given me a new hobby to enjoy, or a new source of entertainment to get me through tough parts of my life, but you helped me and my ma bond over something that reminds us both of my dad, and I can never thank you guys enough for giving me that. Merry Christmas you FOOKIN ANIMALS YA! And a happy new year too!
Jay, you are crazy! The work you put in to entertain us is rediculous. I'm a chef and christmas is the toughest time of the year for me working crazy hours. Your christmas episodes mean so much to me each time. I can watch my favorite show and feel good for once! Watched Rumble 94 on the 24th, March to Mania on the 25th and Mania X on the 26th at night. Back in the day those were the shows I was hyped for the most as a young wrestling mark. Makes it even more special to me. THANK YOU. LOVE YOU GUYS!
Cheers for all the hard work! Some whopper episodes there mate. Just on the topic of the Road to/warm up shows being seperate podcasts, I really like it. Wasn't 100% sold on the Summerslam one but I'm in favour now, the Road to was great bollocks and a nice little warm up for mania
*March to mania, you can tell I watch fucking NJPW
Thanks for all of your hard work! This was a great Xmas gift!!
You're very welcome my brah! Glad you dug em 😃
V1's "bitch" remark was my favorite part of the episode. Could've swore he was Vince talking to Zombie Linda at X7!
*Gravelly low pitch* Biiiiitch! 😂
Thanks for the long hours Jay. Top quality as always. All the best to you and the boys 🍻
You guys deserve it! And thank u for the lovely words 🙂
You lads are doing the lords work! Great to watch the new episode while cooking Christmas dinner! A winner is you boys 👍
ah that's wonderful my dude! Hope you enjoyed it :D
Like I said last night, instant classic episode. When V1 says Alundra Blayze has bad facials and you can know Jay is cracking up even though it's completely off mic is fucking hilarious.
i tried my best to sandbag and stifle that! ha ha!
