Our YouTube channel just got demonetized :(
Most of it went to WWE & Calvin Harris, but it's such a kick in the groin. Gotta figure out what to do. We never depended on YouTube for an income (sure we only opened NoggerU after 5 years of doing the show!) so this hits us way less than others.
Just wanted to say ***thank you for supporting us!*** I’m so grateful for your support - we wouldn't be still doing OSW if it wasn't for you :)
Wish YouTube emailed me about it, I just stumbled upon it in the Creator Studio :/ We got a vague sexual content warning (with no links to specific videos) so I’m assuming it’s something to do with Lesbian Pollen or the Sunny ep (although they’re 4.5 & 1.5 YEARS OLD, and already either demonetized/ age-restricted – ie they’ve already looked at them and made a ruling) but they’ll likely be removed and made website-only.
Anywoo, just wanted to say thank you, and keep ya in the loop - see ya next week for Paige's movie review right here on NU, then Survivor Series '93 around 2 weeks after that! Best thing ya can do to help is just keep watching and hassle your friends about us :)

Sorry to hear about this brah, YouTube indeed is making it tougher for creators. I've been watching you guys for the past 3+ years. Had a lot of laughs, finally I was able to get on Nogger U this month as my financial situation improved! Best decision I've made! Will surely try to bump up my college fee when possible! Ha! Yeppers, they host the website's videos. Their playback is pretty shite for long form videos like ours, but have some cool extra functionality like reuploading videos and fixing mistakes and such. Shame they're so distantly far away from YouTube in terms of reach and playback. They're the best backup video website 😊

Did you have permission from Calvin Harris to use his song?
Nope! Buuut YT scan the entire vid and add claims automatically, so the song is matched, claimed, tracked and monitored by Sony on behalf of him (ie it's ok to use as long as you're ok with those conditions). It's why most of our YouTube goes to himself & WWE. Hope that makes sense!

Honestly, it's even worse than that Jay. If you try emailing them and talking to support to find out exactly why this happened, what specific videos are an issue, what you can do to try and addess them, they will say they can't actually tell you, and just point you towards the most basic guidelines instead. Makes it completely impossible to try and address their concerns, whatever they are, either by providing proof that you might have the required permissions/licenses or by removing them. Not to mention how often they not only change their policies, but choose how to interpret their own policies.

Lol, I don't think they're eagle eyed for that stuff, but it's absolutely possible someone saw the tits and instead of saying "waheyyyy tits!" they went and reported the channel. Could be!
That sucks, but I noticed a few other YouTubers I subscribe to complained about that recently, so I am not surprised it happened to you. Disappointed, but not surprised. FWIW, if you wanted to start doing paid sponsorships at the beginning of each video, I wouldn't mind. You guys should be able to make some money for all your hard work.
