KOTR '93 episode commentary

Well helloooooo! hey brahs and bras, hope you enjoyed the KOTR episode! (Clicky https://youtu.be/bKBTHhKgkJI ) I thought I'd give you some little backstage tidbits about the video 🙂 I ran a bit of an experiment here...! V1 told me he was talking to you lads, and you said that I have more "room" to edit, and not have everything be as short as possible -- that you guys like when we talk bollocks. So I intentionally left in a couple of bits I'd usually cut out (adding maybe 5m of runtime), to see if u guys thought it was too long or dragged or whatever. Did it feel overly long? Would u have enjoyed it if It was a little tighter (*squeeze noise*)? OOC had the skuts RIGHT BEFORE we started recording. like literally we ate burger king and that went right through him. most of the show he was like "don't touch me, dont even look at me!" so thats why he was quieter in this ep, and was feeling better halfway through (and so talked more). Almost all of his thoughts made it into the show to stop it from sounding too lop-sided. This video contains segments from future osw episodes because of it's time-sensitive-ness: like V1's twitch bit was recorded during January 2019's episode recording session (!) My bit about "Hitmeng, Deadmeng, Kidmeng" was taped during the OSW Playlist Nov recording sesh, which is coming sometime next week 🙂 same with the t-shart ad. I added OOC quietly laughing in post during the Kidmeng bit in post (see how sneaky i am!) We did record a post-RAW review but instead i scattered relevant bits during the PPV review. It's such a nothing raw I felt it was better used as pre- or post- match points of interest (eg V1 bringing up it was taped ahead of time, across a PPV). The Killing Joke artwork was by Carl Sciacchitano! he also did the Abyss/Joker artwork for the end of the TNA arc. Originally he had "nogger" on the camera but a fan asked if it would be loaded with fuji-film, and i thought that is an INCREDIBLE reference! I wanted to do a Killing Joke cover for a while now and PPVs with a camera as a focal point are hard to come by - it was either KOTR '93 or ...Alex Shelley in TNA. or maybe Billy Kidman's KidCam. Hopefully it was the right choice! There's some bits i wish we did an on-camera show. like OOC's face reacting to Bret/King feuding for 2 years (a defeated forlorn hang-head) and me re-enacting the ref "row-z'ing" panto explaining to the other ref about Luna's interference. I intentionally don't use video of us as it would make production more difficult (editing only audio makes it easier to trim down and fix). The OSW GAME is coming soon! Probably in January! 🤩 There was no plug for the next episode at the end of the show, because i balls'd it up. i originally said it was SummerSlam 93 (and got the # wrong!) but #77 is actually our Christmas Brucie Bonus episode! it's a wrestling show and very relevant, you guys will love it. OOC said it was his fav recording session of the year 🙂 And lastly.... The reason this episode took quite long to come out (even if it was only recorded just a month ago) was that we've actually recorded the next two shows already! Both are Brucie bonus episodes although Xmas ep is very relevant! It also means that there won't be a huge ravine between the last show of one year and the first show of the next.
