Videogame music requests for Level 17!

https://youtu.be/zpVIM8de2xw And finally. Best mega man level theme. SNAKE MAN!

https://youtu.be/x0qU_9nega8 Chip and Dale for the nes it's a really underrated soundtrack, every track is amazing, but zone J is by far the best.

https://youtu.be/YJmhVODe47s Short but incredible track, a few people have also done metal covers of it. I chose it because it is special to me, I wasn't a video game collector until years ago I dusted off my old nes, this was the first game I put back in and the blast of nostalgia I got from hearing this track was overwhelming. Started collecting every nes Pal A game released in the UK and a year ago completed my collection! Thanks Time Lord! Haha

Jeez u guys are knocking it out of the park! fak! ha ha

Last month I suggested a "Lemmings" song by SFX which has been an earworm of mine for years. It's a really fun cheesy tune, similar to the Mario Compact Disco remixes. However, the versions on Youtube really aren't high quality enough for radio which is a shame since we really need an HD version of this official music video: https://youtu.be/4n4pk9uWfiU I have good quality mp3s if you can suggest somewhere to upload them to. ^_^ Cheers

Seeing how much you loved The Belmonts, I'm sure you've heard their latest tracks from a few weeks ago. This is my fav track from the new release. Vampire Killer (ft Amanda Lepre) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxS46BTcrrs I love it for how it tells the back story of how the whip was created with Leon Belmont and Sara sacrificing her soul to save others from her fate of being turned. It's obvious from nearly all their tracks, but that level of detail and fleshing out of character motivations is what I think sets The Megas/Belmonts apart from a lot of bands doing game inspired music.

Shiveria Town theme from Mario Odyssey is criminally underrated. It reminds me of a bright, snowy, Canadian day. Where I live now, we have a "Winterfest" in January. It's basically a drunken ball hockey tournament, a drunken barn dance and some outdoor fun stuff for the kids! I love that Mario escapes this cold, uninhabitable blizzard to a warm, cheery town that just wants to race! Kind of like when you play all day out in the cold and mom has hot chocolate ready. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qe805YBjBpM

When Pokemon initially came out in 98, I was 14 and in 9th grade . I was told/peer pressured by my mates that this was on the "Murtagh List" (I'm too old for this shit. Points for the Lethal Weapon/HIMYM references). Then in 2016 or so, the GB ports finally came on the 3DS e-shop and thought why not?! And I loved it! So, it was a no brainer to pick up Let's Go Evee this week. The re-imagining of Kanto was spectacular, especially in the soundtrack. Gym battle was always a standout theme (for my boy: Brock!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZBFiIVXH6M

Hollow Knight: holy balls this game is tough! Typical indie Metroid-Vania vibe. This is when you meet the Mantis Lords: I find the harpsichords fitting somehow. Kind of a "bad-ass heel" version of HHH's initial blue blood theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbDkU65pJNQ&list=RDziG-p9bpIro&index=4

I've been giving out about the Owlboy soundtrack before and I will again lol! This is from the Mesos stage, it's a dreary part of the game (actually the tone changes very early on). Towards the climax of the game, you come to Mesos: a snowy, dark but beautiful stage. You also meet a pivotal character here too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDIVH5Go9-Y

Zelda Spirit Tracks: The game was utter shite but the soundtrack was gorgeous, mainly the overworld theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W_bFLwB0WY

m.youtube.com/watch?v=er5FUWLAelE Listening to the Star Tropics music from NES, very underrated musical vibe, much like how underrated this game is.

The ad was perfect for SA

Plus it's in game so it counts https://youtu.be/yOzcbtsw_pQ

https://youtu.be/x4zq13KdTp8 I'd love to hear this!!

Hi, Jay. Do you have a link to all the previously-used songs? I seem to remember there being one last time. Thanks.

Some delta rune songs Field of Hopes and Dreams - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnLQnX7BPeU Checker Dance - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zjhw5tC3Mh8 THE WORLD REVOLVING - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-igYprwlM6M (Love the fan mixes for this as well) Don't Forget - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLqUt8NK73c (A whopper song that was made for this amazing game, I would say its the best song with lyrics for a video game since your reality from doki doki last year)

Light Up My Life from Valkyria Chronicles 4. https://youtu.be/M9cedHEBtpM

Bubble-Yakuza 0.https://youtu.be/sdVvgdVglOw

All of these tracks are amazing but my three favorite are Stains of Time, Rules of Nature, and my personal favorite It Has To Be This Way

Metal Gear Rising Soundtrack Extended: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_L7TXzlr0ry0bGyk629DQGvZkWihlFhl

Republic Commando theme - https://youtu.be/wirkuuCjLCY Clones by Ash - https://youtu.be/Sg1M7CIq0Rg

Keio Flying Squadron - Loved this game as a kid, but don't have my Sega Mega CD any more and to buy the set up again is far too expensive. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgwkEteNgOg&list=PLxFEhYHLTEExFUbtv3P24HNpMicRDNvsM That will be all for now

Parappa the Rapper 2 - First Stage and actually first video game song I tought myself on bass. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ9EN2WDhG4

Can you feel the sunshine I always wanted to love this game but I always go flying off the track. Still it has TJ Davis as a singer, she actually was once backing singer for Gary Numan and D ream (if you remember them) which you do. Some of the songs of this game were also on Samba Da Amigo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvVAUDakeSI

I absolutely love this game and the soundtrack is pretty good for a pirate game! I’m a huge fan of the Dreamcast and this RPG. Loads of fun and the game soundtrack is epic. Dramatic but epic.https://youtu.be/V8EYbUY_NnE

Payday 2 is finally done after like 5 years, so I feel obligated to talk about how AMAZING Simon Viklund is! His music is one of the big reasons I started playing Payday 2 originally and it wouldn't be half the game without his songs in the background. Simon is one of my favorite video game composers of all time and a big reason for it is his versatility, not just being able to do modern rock-techno tracks, but also veering into orchestral bits and 80's soundtracks to fit the tune for the heist! Here are some of my favorites: The Gauntlet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPhVCcHhqaI Hot Pursuit (from the Hotline Miami crossover) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWN-Emn7-Q8 Ode to Greed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTHqz6JsfCc Break the Rules (with that sweet 80's sound and vocals!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4Z96WwZrL0 The Flames of Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m0mRDlXYtE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNAU-ccQBE4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J67nkzoJ_2M&t=36s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdW5-uJqCVY

How about a selection of video game music by the rapper Doseone, who's having a late-career renaissance in this regard

Not sure if it has been on before but how about the AMAZING opening for Snake Eater. One of my all time favourite games and gives an excellent bond-esque cold war era ballad to hype you up for the game. https://youtu.be/_CbFAZ2ztlE
