OSW Update! (June)
Well hellooooo! What's the craic, hope you're all having Sunny days 🌞 here's what's going down in Groovestown:
• Latest OSW: WCW Spin the Wheel 1992 (2h3m) I'm glad ye guys enjoyed us going insane with the horrific match quality, esp. Rude/Chono. It was a lot of fun to record 😂
• Latest nU axcloosiv: WWF Iron Man 2000 https://www.patreon.com/posts/157341858 (39m) loads of fun seeing what is the antithesis of early 90s WCW, with WWF's crazy Russo-like booking!
• Next OSW: A Brucie Bonus WrestleMania 42 review!
Yes! We've dipped back into modern times with Wrestling's biggest event of the year. Yes it's just an excuse to hornswoggle u into an hour of indie matches we watched beforehand (I love covering Mania Week!!) what's more, MAFFEW will join us! Mr B. Mania is back for the first time since before the pandemic. Yes it's been that long!
All previous OSW Botchamania Crossovers: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKjsTHExZ2SnR_DWpdfznchdOif5tWBdZ
Vital stats: Jay, V1 and Maffew. One gigantic episode! (~3h20m). Covers multiple Mania week shows, NXT, SD! Andre the Giant, HoF, Mania Saturday and Mania Sunday!
Hoping to finish editing it in ~2 weeks (so early July for everyone here) and live on YouTube whenever WWE sort the copyright.
Hope ya enjoyed the wee clip, I can't wait for ye to see the final big vid!
So TL/DR, new gigantic WM42 episode with Maffew coming early July!
See ya in the funny pages,
Love, Jay 💚

Huge fan of the Maffew episodes. Looking forward to it!
I just saw this and thought that Jay might want to back the project, seeing how much he loves its namesake: https://gamefound.com/en/projects/creardo/tatanka
Hey lads, hope everything is running along well. Mini rant incoming. I look forward to the review but I'm so bummed at the state of today's WWE product whoring itself with ads. Even actor O'Shea Jackson Jr. told Hunter and Stephanie to their faces saying the amount of advertising is making their product unwatchable. People at Wrestlemania paid thousands of dollars for tickets to get advertising blasted at them for the whole show. Paying customers shouldn't be forced to put up with ads especially of the scale being done. Supporting a free show on network or cable like Smackdown is warranted but this growing level of douchebaggery ad-pocalypse is too much. Like the fact that you and the other creators have dedicated sections and/or whole videos about it should be enough to say don't watch the product.
yep agreed! such a jarring change watching heyday Attitude Era, bursting with creativity and atmosphere; and the corporate-friendly scrubbed clean stuff today. But it's good to dip a toe to see how it is. Still fun to be had (....most of it at WWE's expense lol) Like we spend a large amount of time pouring over Pat McAfee :D
You lads are the absolute best. Thank you for blessing us with so much good content.
thank u mate! that's made my day
I look forward to OOC's passive-agressive response to Maffew turning up again
Sunny days are selling it short. Here on the main land it's a damnright scourge. Cheers for Wrestlemania 42! Shame you couldn't get a hold of Wrestling Bios (or maybe didn't wanna, him being from the north and all) he did an awesome review of his overpriced stay at Wrestlemania weekend.
Ha he was kind enough to send footage so you'll see some of his holiday snaps in the ep!
I’m excited, been curious about the updates and happy to finally see mania 42, I don’t have the channel to watch it, I have missed every payperview since they left peacock
OSW Review reviews AdMania 42 🥳🥳🥳
i thought of a fun way of showcasing it!
I was there in Vegas for Mania Weekend... yes, was pricey, but I had so much fun. Hope I see me in any GCW footage you show off, got to meet so many cool people. As for Mania and RAW... well, I thought for all its flaws (and it was) Night 1 was just alright, same with the RAW After. Night 2 was WAY better. I got some photos and video I took if you wanna feature 'em in the video. I think the most fun I had was during it was at Death Vegas, MDK Fight Club, Immortal Clusterfuck (couldn't make THE JJ Spring Break show, kick myself for not doing it) and JCW Stranglemania. You can see me with my OSW What Bar hat near the entrance way. Even got got help carry Marcus Mathers to the ring. XD
oh nice! are there any specific shots with you in it? can u tweet/bluesky/DM me a link to a shot with ya in it, i'll include it in the ep
Loved the last review and all the terrible matches that came with it! Any chance you will cover AEW All In with it coming back to London? I love when you do the occasional dip to modern wrestling and i doubt it will have a match as bad as chono/rude lol.
Thanks mate! No plans for more modern wrestling after this, but if All In inspires me, I'll see if V1's up for it 🙂 I didn't plan on Mania 42 either but I needed to talk about Pat McAfee!
When Maffew is not around everyone should be asking where's Maffew? Still waiting for the Mortal Kombat film remake review.
Thanks mate - MK reboot films do interest me! But we're working on more WCW 92/93, maybe when the schedule clears a bit.
Huzzah! Maffhew is returning!
Let us celebrate adding chocolate to milk!
Do we have a rough estimate of how much of the video is going to be giving out about ads and match lengths?
It's its own section! So we chat about it for a few mins, I found a fun way to visually show it 🙂
Thanks for the update, Jay!! Looking forward to seeing what you guys and Maffew have to say about WM42 next month.
Given the quality of the show I can take a good guess what they'll say.
