OSW Update for May!
Hellooooo!
Hope it's getting warmer where you are and you're all having Sunny days. Here's what's going down in Groovestown:
Capital Combat ft. Robocop released this past weekend!
Response has been super lovely (we just crossed 100k on Monday) and it's lotsa fun being in WCW again. Not having access to most of WCW when I was kid makes it a treat to experience for the first time as an adult. Anyone have this experience (only access to either WWF OR WCW for the longest time?)

Next OSW is Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal with Jake Roberts!
It's being video edited right now! It features a whole section on Bill Watts rules (he's the "no throwing over the top rope" guy) it's almost 20 mins so I might bring it out as a separate vid rather than in the ppv itself, we'll see! The PPV (Halloween Havoc '92) features some shocking performances. Good shocking or bad shocking? Find out next time on OSW!
New OSW Matt McMuscles Predator reviews on SATURDAY!
Myself & V1 joined Matt to face off against Predator Killer of Killers & Predator Badlands. Previously we covered all of the mainline predator films (1-4, and 5 in a follow-up vid) and now we set out to... finish! the! story! I edited the audio for this and Matt helmed the entire video production (with editor Momoka, who edits films for us too) so it should have a very familiar feel 🙂
I'm dying to see how the video turned out because I was very happy with the recording sesh - we squeeze all the juice outta these two films. Badlands especially - it's well made but has some glaring talking points/stuff to rant about; so perfect material for us.
Matt OSW Predathon is coming SATURDAY to his channel! Why not catch up with our Predator videos?

Our latest nU axcloosiv is WCW War Games '96! We started doing match requests as well as film requests and this is the first one. It's a doozy, this time period is so fascinating we might have to revisit it for an arc!

Next nU release is WWF 2000's Iron Man between Rock and Triple H! The vid runs for almost 40 mins, it was a blast to cover something in the ultra-hot period of WWF. It should be out NEXT WEEKEND!
So TL/DR?
• This Saturday: Predator Double Bill with Matt, Jay & V1! (Matt's channel)
• Next Weekend: Rock Triple H ironman (nU axcloosiv, ~40mins)
• Later in May: OSW Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal (H'Havoc 92) first on nU, then for everyone!

I have a question Is there any plans to sell shirts for the different thumbnails you've done in the past? I really love that Spider-Bret and that New Gen OSW images and I think they'd make a good shirt.
Yo! We actually have those as tees! Here ya go brah https://shop.oswreview.com/en-eur
Watts might not have been the nicest or best human being, but he understood professional wrestling. I don't know if you can put most of the bollocks on him. '92 in WCW was one of the best in-ring product years for any company, and he was gone by early '93. '91 and '93 were so much worse without Watts. And I understand why he limited dives and dangerous maneuvers; he wanted them reserved for big matches or when a referee was down. Now, everybody dives, and it's practically meaningless, aside from the near-neck breaks we have every week. I want to see someone out for 2-4 weeks when they take a piledriver and the perpetrator suspended and fined, not a kickout at 1.
Maybe hold off praise until we go through all of his rules!! 😃
Badlands is my favourite Predator movie. I never thought I would enjoy another series entry more than the original, as I am close to 40, and most people in my age bracket prefer the original. Dan Trachtenberg knows what he's doing, and he hasn't missed with a Predator film yet.
You’ve released longer videos for worse reasons. Leave in the Bill Watts segment.
Man, Badlands was so good!
Dude I was at Halloween Havoc 92 and yes, our tickets were comped! My parents worked for the Cable company and they gave everyone who worked there free tix and tickets to the meet and greet. Met Johhny B. Badd! And yes, there waa ab AWESOME fight in the stands that even made the wrestlers stop and look. I remember the one dude took the Norte Dame "Fighting Irish" stance. It was awesome!
Oh nice! Free tix AND badd, great day
Bill Watts bollocks would be an entire arc itself!
Ha ha! It's fun going thru his rules! He's got a ton of em so I get OOC to weigh up each one
I think I'm gonna go annual lads, I'm on the fence. Would it all buy multiple rounds each in one sitting?
It would! I'd love some cider as it's getting warm out. But it's a lot of spondoolucks make sure you're alright yourself first brah 🙂🍻
I only know of this period and the 80s etc of WCW from recaps and documentaries. My WCW knowledge is only really from 95 till the final nitro so this is fun for me to watch. 97 and 2000 are my favourite years of wrestling so I'm looking forward to your review of HHH and The Rock. People may disagree but I actually think it's the best iron-man match WWE ever did
Enjoy WCW lads, for me it was the other way around. Only access to WCW and more specifically, WCW worldwide which was a compilation show only featuring random matches from Saturday Night, Thunder & Nitro. No promos or buildup nothing. When WCW was wininng the war it was the best, when Russo came in it was a mess to watch. Only discovered WWF through the playstation demo disc you use to get free with magazine, where a little demo of a certain 'WWF Smackdown!' was on and the rest is history.
Ha that's amazing! Discovering wwf thru the demo ps disc 😂
Jake in WCW is such a tragedy. He was the perfect fit for WCW at that point in his life and could have made an Excellent top heel for the company if it was done right and his demons weren’t so strong. (And the whole backstage drama too) le Sigh….
