Welcome to the new OSW arc!!
Helloooooo and welcome everyone, familiar friends and new! Hope you enjoyed our brand-spanking newest episode, we’re ecstatic to be breaking pretty untouched ground with OSW in 2005. Crazy, eh?
As we revealed in our new arc TRAILER we're doing a 3-Part "First Time Is Now" arc!
• Royal Rumble 2005 (watch here!)
• No Way Out 2005
• WrestleMania 2005
As you can see, it’s a much shorter arc than the last, akin to the David Arquette Trilogy! We're commemorating Cena’s final run and hopefully tie it up before he loses the belt 😂 The arc was pitched by our editor Nies earlier this year and we loved it. There were a ton of incredible ideas for arcs when I posted on YouTube if u wanna read! We got material another decade! Couple of Qs that I’ve seen:
Q: Will you do any brucie bonus vids?
A: Maybe! If there’s an excellent idea you guys pitch, I’d be open to it. These are the core shows we want to cover. Gimme your suggestions below?
Q: Does this mean no TV reviews?
A: Yes, we won’t formally do any Raw or SD reviews, but we’ll incorporate them into the main video instead (eg Batista’s thumbs 👍👎 in the No Way Out episode)
Q: Are we doing a Golden Noggers afterwards?
A: No, since it’s so short we’ll do another arc first, and then do a GNs about both!
Q: Is there much Heidenreich in this arc?
A: Not enough.
Any more Qs pop ‘em below and i’ll answer ‘em best I can!
See ya in the funny pages,
Love, Jay 💚
p.s. Hopefully Cena will still have the belt by the time we finish!

I LIKE BILL Y JACK HAYNES FOR FUN. HE'.S FROM YOUNG AGE
Royal Rimble! I’m finally joining years too late! How do I join the discord and take my para-social relationship to creepy new heights?
As a poor, frugal chocolate bar 🍫 level NoggerU subscriber, I don't have access to the first ep. Any news when it's going to be publicly available?
DM me brother I'll hook ya up!
Ya fookin' animals! I am so hyped for this arc! WM21 was the first PPV I got to watch live so this is going to be a right trip, can't wait. I know it's a Cena Arc but I would love for this to extend to SummerSlam 05 for the Hogan/HBK antics if nothing else.
I asked for this arc. And here it is.
Loved RR05. I laughed too hard when my boy Rob Conway came up and Jay said just look at him. I'm going to Roman Reigns a Smackdown 2005 arc into happening. Heidenreich is on 3 post-Wrestlemania PPV's, including as a tag champion.
You know what, I'm going to back Jay up on this. Yeah, Heidenreich is obviously not main event material (I blame his LOD run). But he's not as horrible as V1 and OOC make out. I'd even say he's as good as Kane, much better than Snitsky, considerably better than Buttplug. I'd even put him above New Years Baby in this era. He's got the look, he's got the fist pump walk, he's got Michael Coles bum cherry and he's got Jay's heart. Give me more Heidenreich
Thank you mate! I had to re- and re-watch the RR match vs Taker and omg Heidenreich is even worse. Don't tell the steves!
Mannnn I would hope one day you guys cover Wrestlemania 20 one of my favorite PPV’w
For a minute I thought OSW would be doing all the PPVs where Cena won his 17 championships. Mid-2000s to 2010s WWE would kill these boys
I have a few suggestions that I think people will like: - Summerslam 2005, mostly for HBK's brief heel turn. - New Year's Revolution 2006, to see how Cena's first title reign ended - Cena's rap album
I was going to suggest Judgment Day 2005 as a brucie bonus but others have already suggested it, so I would say in a similar vain Vengeance 2005 could be an interesting brucie bonus. I feel like Vengeance 2005 is always mentioned as one of the best “B” ppvs. We get the end of the Batista/Triple H feud, Cena vs Jericho and Christian in a Triple Threat match, and HBK and Angle in a Wrestlemania rematch.
Sod Heidenreich, where’s Tatanka???
As other comments have suggested: - Judgement Day 05 for the album, with a listening session for the boys - 12 Rounds or The Marine Review - My suggestion (Cena's 380-day-reign (including feuds with Kevin Federline) (Also the chance to witness the plethora of talent Cena faced in that year)
Do Baista 2005 arc, Rumble, the thumbs down RAW and Judgement Day 05 HIAC match
Oh hell, we need a mini review in one of the episodes coming up or part of the Brucie bonus of his album.
Mahi mahi!!
Heiden, Heidenreich, Hei-den-reich. Heiden, Heidenreich, Hei-den-reich. Heiden-reich, Heiden-reich Heiden, Heidenreich.
Stoked for the new mini arc and can’t wait for a bigger, proper early 90’s WCW Arc! We need a massive Legend of Zelda deep dive from Jay, Eric Bischoff’s book review from OOC and V1 can stay on Twitch (😂) kidding mate! Keep up the good work lads!
RR05 was fantastic! I was thinking for the Brucie Bonus you guys can do Judgement Day 05 which not only ends the JBL feud but also happens at the release of his album
I posted underneath a previous video but I think a great idea for a Brucie Bonus would be Judgement Day 2005, Cenas 1st ppv title defence against JBL in an outstanding I Quit match plus the bizarre bestiality angle with Booker, Kurt & Sharmell also add in the tag team of Charlie Has & Hardcore Holly & we have a winner
I dont know if you want to count this as a brucie bonus Jay or maybe something to put in the Mania 21 review. Could you potentially talk about Cena after Mania 21 as like a little summary? And how you think the booking went? Think putting him up against Jericho, Christian and Angle in 2005 didn't help him with a decent section of fans. Maybe OOC, you and V1 talking about the cena years and how you think about it now looking back?
Great job on the RR05 episode! If you choose to do a Brucie Bonus episode, maybe one of Cena's early films like "The Marine" or "12 Rounds"?
Holy fuck, 12 Rounds..... I was a big smelly Cena mark in 05 so I watched this and actually liked it. Would love to see the lads cover it and hopefully there is a diamond in the shit. I'll still love it though
RR05, guys, you had me rolling. Top notch.
