Suggest an OSW review?
Helloooooo!
Hope you enjoyed the 71-minute Mystic Knights review we dropped yesterday (link here!) It was so much fun chatting about Irish Power Rangers from the 90s 😂 We'll be recording the fan-voted episode next! Can you suggest a one-off review? (Any wrestling PPV, show, film, TV show)
Please ♥️ if you like someone else's suggestion, so we know how strongly ye feel about it. We'll create a final poll based on what ye lads suggest.
So ya, let us know what review you'd like to see, and why 😃 I'm always interested in what makes a certain PPV/show special to you!
Sláinte!
Love, jay 💚
☘️ p.s. NEW T-SHART for Paddy's Day!! https://shop.oswreview.com/ 👕
Thought it'd be great fun to have a very Irish shirt, so you can rep your boys AND Ireland at the same time! Perfect for Paddy's Day next month 🇮🇪 More pics of the black OSW Pint tee here, and green here! Pls snap a pic of it when it arrives 🙂

The invasion angle from start to finish….TAKE MY MONEY 🤑
Just an idea for another video game retrospective, the Doom franchise, a deep dive involving the Dark Ages one as its brand new? I'm not 100% versed in it but it mustve had quite an effect on the first person shooter genre, I'm sure V1 would enjoy research into that kind of discussion? Keep up the good work lads, I'm late to the post so I'm not expecting this to get picked up
Hogan WWE return? No way out 02, raw with rock, raw killing the rock with his semi, mania 18, his return to the red and yellow on smackdown, backlash, and the best chokeslam ever at judgement day 02
Rewatched the watchman OSW review, makes me want to get the lads thoughts on Amazons "The Boys"
What about 'Moving Target'? The OTHER Irish Kung Fu movie...It even has Jimmy Bennett in it!
First Nitro would be fun. A surprise appearance by Sexy Lexy in a lovely billowy white blouse, Pillman vs. Liger, and the "real" main event of the show: Pastamania brother!
I feel like you need to do the Egg Dome AJW show at some point. The show was building to it lmao.
From a wrestling world wcw uncensored 1995... it was the second show i watched as a kid (first was mania 9!) Its has everything you could want! Hogan, flair in drag, sting, macho, renegade!!! From a TV world how about a recap of the zena and Hercules TV series
I think we need to dip back into early 90’s WCW BOLLOCKS!! The Dungeon of Doom arc was soooooooo phenomenal and I love that you guys had no clue about how wild WCW was (since you didn’t get it in Ireland) We need another dip in the pool.
I'd KILL for a review of Highlander. It's pure bullshit and I love it so much (thanks Pops, rest in peace), plus you get to see the Freebirds wrestle for like .5 seconds in the intro!
The 1990 Movie Darkman would be fun. Worth it for Liam Neesons weird American accent
And the elephant
Mania 26. Bret v Vince. The final Mania rodeo of Bruce Hart
1000000x this
I dunno how available the footage is but an episode on Ring Ka King would be fun, classic TNA bollocks, insane Scott Steiner, and plenty of playful racism!
I vote for the 2000 movie, Moving Target. It's the second Irish martial arts movie, with a guest appearance from one Mr Bennett. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_Target_(2000_film)
Okay hear me out… it would probably require too much coordination for it to be the next feature, but general food for thought: Allison and Phelous’ ‘Charmed Rewind’ is so outrageously funny. Charmed is basically the girl equivalent of ‘bollocks’ content. There is a crossover 2001 WCWxCharmed episode in season 3. You lads, Pregler, and Phelous could make a phenomenal review adding that to the redux series.
Wrestlemania 20
I don't think you guys have done an elimination chamber? I think the one that went to shit with marks pod breaking early would be incredible bollocks for you boys
They did ECW December to Dismember which featured the Elimination Chamber as the main event.
WWA one off/arc Some absolute bollocks almost to the level of heroes of wrestling. Plus it has double J in it
Crown Jewel 2018, a car crash of a show not only before but during the show
Honestly I'd love for your reaction to any movie properly starring Leslie Nielson. Any naked gun, airplane etc
wow almost 200 suggestions! alriighty!
The Self-destruction of the Ultimate Warrior, the 20th anniversary of it coming up, and obviously it's infamy
Batman and Robin it will always be Batman and Robin. I need it give it to me
Bash at the Beach 2000 - Russo shooting on Hogan is amazing bollocks
Red Dwarf in some capacity, be it Series 1, the US pilots, The Promised Land, whatever!
Battle Royal at the Royal Albert Hall
JCW: Heroes and Icons. Heroes of Wrestling in front of a Juggalo audience.
For a wrestling show, I could recommend TNA Unbreakable in 2005 For a movie, since there is a wrestling match in the beginning and because I'm surprised you haven't done it yet, I would suggest Highlander (1986)
One off thunder in paradise?
If you’re looking for good Thunder in Paradise content check out Wrestling Bios. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIfr8r22OVa1ipxDVtg-Mo04lO_s_C7kK&si=MClW_ngigl-LaSvH
I have two suggestions: 1) SummerSlam 1998: My dad purchased the pay-per-view for my 15th birthday. It features a nice blend of bollocks such as the Oddities vs. Kaientai and Jeff Jarrett getting his hair shaved leading into his "Don't Piss Me Off" character; and some great in-ring action such as the ladder match featuring the Rock and Triple H for the IC Title and Steve Austin and the Undertaker for the WWF Championship. Or 2) WrestleMania XXIV. This was the one WrestleMania I managed to attend as I was living in the Central Florida area at the time. I had broken my collar bone about a month previously, but I still attended the show with my arm in a sling after surgery. Both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship matches really delivered as did the "final" match of Ric Flair and even the Big Show/Floyd Mayweather match was entertaining. Of course, there's John Bradshaw Layfield chucking a trash can right onto Hornswoggle. You can't go wrong with that. But those are my suggestions. Maybe not the most popular, but they hold a special place in my heart.
Finish the story. Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon
Even in animated form, Stephanie is still a C#%T
I know you want to review TNA in Japan but know NJPW is extremely trigger happy with copyright claims. How about Bound For Glory 2014 with the now defunct Wrestle1? It's weird. EC3 gets flattened by a sumo.
Jimmy Superfly Snuka: Backlund to Piper. 1982- 1984. The face turn, the murder, the iconic feud with Magnificent Don Muraco, Piper clocking him in the head with Coconut... This was the Phantom Menace to Hulkamania's New Hope.
The Invasion Arc for 2001 would be unreal. But a once-off? Well - Invasion 2001. The amount of bollix in it was.....(to quote an old owner of WWF/E) UN-BEEEE-LIEVABLE!!! 😅
Guyver: Dark Hero! Imagine Power Rangers for adults, gory as hell, great fight choreography, genuinely fantastic creature FX, the voice actor of Solid Snake and a load more bollocks
I would suggest WMAC Masters. Think of it as Martial Arts with a Gimmick for two seasons. The first season focuses on teaching viewers various lessons of never giving up, always forgiving someone, and being humble with your skills and crafts, while the second season becomes very carny with a story of a mysterious evil clan trying to take down the organization by winning the title. There are some good fights, but it's pretty ridiculous, especially the last episode.
Nothin' but ninja!
Super J Cup would be fun
What about doing the rise of cm punk from ring of honor to his first heavyweight win. The early wcw with Halloween havoc would be great though. Or the raven and sandman storyline?
Any of the WWA / World Wrestling All-Stars; it's like pre TNA post WCW bollacks 🤣
I'd opt for one of the early WCW shows, ideally Halloween Havoc 1991. It's not a terrible show but there's a lovely combination of good and bad on there. Thoroughly entertaining.
WCW Uncensored 95.. Absolute Billionaire Ted Bollocks.
WrestleMania 20 season with some Brucie Bonuses...
Review Far and Away....Tom Cruise punching a horse and an attempt of an Irish accent that is legendary
Nitro August 4, 1997. Lex Luger's greatest wrestling moment. The greatest day of Mr. OOC's life, even if he didn't realize it at the time. Also the triumphant return of THE BARBARIAN to OSW. Probably the height of pre-Goldberg WCW
Bloodsport and/or Street Fighter. Van Damme classics!
Definitely some early 90's WCW bollix. Like, Halloween Havoc 91 (Chamber of Horrors), Superbrawl 3 (White Castle of Fear), or Beach Blast 93 (Sting and Bulldog getting blown up on a boat).
This would make such a fun mini-arc!
I'm one of those people that likes to see people suffer, but also find some hidden gems in what looks like a pile of crap. I know you guys want to avoid Attitude Era stuff, but I'm saying you guys should review Breakdown: In Your House 1998. This is the first PPV that I remember watching with my dad, as a 2 year old. I vividly remember the triple threat cage match between Shamrock, Mankind and The Rock.
I have always wanted to hear your guys take on the short lived "Wrestling Society X" promotion. It was like a toddler hyped up on redbull and sugar, and had some great matches with guys in their prime (teddy hart, evan bourne, jack evans, dragons gate etc) all held together by the lynch-pin, Main Event Little Bitch.
Oh, this was also my first time seeing Seth Rollins.... aww he was so young and emo lol
Do Survivor Series 1997, you cowards!
Halloween Havoc 91. You have the Chamber of Horrors match. The Phantom. The beginning of the Dangerous Alliance. Some wonderful early 90s graphics. And most importantly Main Event Lex Lugar. Also the tombstones on set had references and one of the them had "MN Twins 91" as a sign of support as that same night Game 7 of the World Series was happening between the Minnesota Twins and the also Turner owned Atlanta Braves. The Twins won the game and the series.
WWF Insurrextion 2000 it holds a special place in my hear since I seen like 100 of times due to my brother was working security at ring side and was behind commentary and I think was involved in the Shane chair spot since it was his chair he was sitting on. Also the show is pure wrestle bollocks as well and we get to mark out on jeans Bulldog!
I'd love to see y'all tackle Stephen Chow's take on Journey to the West. It'd be a great follow-up to your Kung Fu Hustle review and I'd love to hear the Boys do a Wukong-esque retrospective since JttW has inspired just about everything we all love. I just can't get enough OSW retrospectives. I also think you guys would enjoy giving out about all the insane booking in the fight scenes. Chow's a magician with that shit. Not sure if boosting this comment with my FOOKIN' ANIMAL tier perk will help, but I'd totally spend it here.
Maybe review Triple H's reign of terror in 2002-2005. Think of all the stuff that happened, Katie Vick, the birth of Bubba Ray Dudley as a singles wrestler, Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Test and his testicles, stuttering goldust to name a few
I would love for you and V1 to review Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City
Lucha Underground! That would encompass 4 seasons I know, but if you chose something like 4 eps of each season's highlights (memorable feuds, Aztec Warfare, Ultimate Lucha) that would be amazing.
Alternatively if you're asking for just one EP, a review of Kurt Angle and Jenna Morasca's Endgame would be amazing!
Transformers the 1986 animated Movie watch the best before you watch the rest lol
Wrestling: Greatest Royal Rumble- even if just the titular match, it's got loads of bollocks, especially Hiroki Sumi aka Wish.com Yokozuna Non-wrestling: The Simpsons Movie- I know you guys are huge Simpsons fans, and I'm curious on your thoughts on it. Also, if you were to do an Invasion arc, do you think you'd end it at Survivor Series '01, Vengeance '01, or Mania 18?
My wife just started watching Total Divas after hearing so many of her favorite current wrestlers were inspired to join the Fed after watching it. I'm dying to know all the backstage "ska" around this bizarre, dark time in wrestling that has made a huge impact today, whether people want to admit it or not.
Survivor series 95, my first live ppv at 11. For osw reasons, party Marty, gold dust ppv debut, first(only) wild card match and a great Bret main event.
For 2 non-wrestling movies that I think are very much in the Jay category are Barbarian and Heretic from the last couple years. They are complex ones like Predestination and as much as I appreciate the funnier reviews, the really introspective ones are always really fun
These are excellent choices but I don't think many people want to hear me bang on about horror films 😃 thank u though!
For love, I must double-dip on my request and ACTUALLY say: Blowwwwn Awaaaaaay. My wife grew up watching it, she showed it to me. It's ... I mean it's not GOOD, is it? But there are some REALLY good scenes!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disorganized_Crime Disorganized Crime is a 1989 American heist comedy film. The ensemble cast includes Fred Gwynne, Lou Diamond Phillips and Ed O'Neill. I have a very soft spot for that movie. My dad recorded it once on VHS (for whatever reason) and we kids watched it over and over again. Probably because Ed O'Neill was in it and we loved Al Bundy.
Would love to see you review the bollocks that was the WWE Capitol Punishment PPV. The babyface Alex Riley (best jobber entrance theme of all time) vs Miz match.
Oh and for a 'movie', PLEASE do Mr. T's 1984 motivational video "Be Somebody Or Be Somebody's Fool". An OSW dissection of that could well surpass "The Room" in terms of sheer bollocks potential.
Nothing will ever surpass 'Fatal Deviation' though 🤣
While I would love to see some of these big PPVs that have been suggested by others (like Summerslam '05, etc) I feel like those are best kept for an arc. The off-season fans' choice review should be a stand-alone kind of show. With that in mind, how about the New Years' Eve 2016 reboot of World of Sport Wrestling with Grado in the main event and Good Old JR on commentary??
Id have to suggest Moving Target. The IRA hide nuclear detonators in a six pack of Beamish and it's up to Don The Dragon Wilson to save Galway and his online crush. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_Target_(2000_film)
Lads this one is needs be I think. Ireland’s 2nd kung fu movie.
'UHF' starring Weird Al Yankovic. Ahead of it's time. The film opened agains INDIANA JONES of all things! It's absurd. It's funny as hell. It's got pre-Kramer Michael Richards, pre-Nanny Fran Drescher, finding the marble in the oatmeal, Wheel of Fish, and the Twinkie-Weiner sandwich. A delight all around.
Any Russo WCW bollix, maybe Bash at the Beach 2000 when Hogan quit?
Or for a film Throw Momma from the Train
Unforgiven 1999
Problem is: they'd have to watch 4 other western movies to get the most out of it...
Batman & Robin (you guys have referenced this one multiple times) and I have a feeling it could be a classic movie review (the likes of The Happening) and of course, there would be some really COOL ice puns!
Seconded! The movie got excoriated online at the time because of insecure internet dudes, but it's a REALLY fun watch as long as you don't expect to take it seriously.
Also, definitely putting forward Bash at the Beach 1995, WCW PPV held outside on an Actual beach that is the companion piece to that WCW Baywatch episode Jay and V1 reviewed with Allison and Phelous. Not only Vader vs Hogan and Flair vs Macho (to save the youth centre) but also Jim Duggan vs Kamala and Paul Orndorff trying to get a good match out of The Renegade while the crowd cheers the heel Orndorff over Renegade.
Mania 19 - Hogan’s final Mania match
For wrestling, the first AEW Double or Nothing (I love the AEW reviews). For a movie, Goodfellas.
How about a rise of cm punk or Seth Rollins arc?
Wayne's World 1 & 2.
Excellent
Willy Wonka (1971) ... please take the piss out of the two 'recent' abominations
I second this. With what bar, you guys doing a Wonka deep dive would be a banger
I know you've just finished doing a TNA arc, but I'd love to see you review early TNA at some point. So my suggestion would either be the first weekly PPV from back in 2002, or Victory Road 2004 (the first monthly PPV featuring Macho Man). How do the boys react to Jeff Jarrett's reign of terror?
ecw 00s & 01 or dying days of WCW 00 to 01 continue on from arquette arc for film Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood
And the most historic wrestling show I ever got to attend, Starrcade '97 with Hogan vs Sting in Stings first match after living in the rafters for like 15 months. It also has a karate fight between Larry Zybysko and Eric Bischoff and some nonsense involving Bret Hart! https://youtu.be/n7A1gZLASW8?si=wppMVoat_BHKunFI
I think it would be great if you guys reviewed the first WOW(Women of Wrestling) PPV called WOW: Unleashed. The main event is Terri Gold AKA Sirelda from TNA vs a wrestler named Thug in a cage match that has the tallest cage i have ever seen. Crazy gimmicks, high production value. Perfect for a watchalong or review.
If you want to do a movie, my favorite nonsense is a film called Miami Connection that Alamo Drafthouse restored a few years back. Directed by Tae Kwon Do Master JK Kim in his first and only directorial effort, a group of orphaned Tae Kwon Do masters that are also in a popular rock group help rid Miami of drug peddling ninjas! https://youtu.be/VpZu69OB2KM?si=o8GU5Y1b_SXICc54
First up, I'd love to see your take on the overselling extravaganza that is HBK vs Hogan at Summerslam 2005 https://youtu.be/UZ-Sayfnhvg?si=nNeDUQeE5tH6D3Gp
Summerslam 2010. Bret "The Hitman" Clark's in-ring return after over a decade away from WWF (don't fact check that). The boys did such a good job with Bret during the new gen era so I would like to hear their thoughts on his career swansong.
Lucha underground would be cool, also for a film review Alien Romulus
Thanks for taking suggestions Jay. For wrestling I would love some 1997 wwf as I think it's the peak of the company as they have attitude era themes but with new generation bollocks still so something like Canadian Stampede 97 which is probably the best two hour ppv of all time for all the hart drama or Raw on 21st April 1997 which I think is one of the best two hour raws ever with the Austin/USA- Hart Foundation Feud. For something non wrestling related I love the suggestions of bottom or red dwarf episodes as they are often quoted and I think some viewers particularly from US should get to experience these great TV shows
Wrestlemania 32. Finish the story lads
King of the Ring 2002 - go over Test vs Brock Match
Starrcade '83
One for Jay, WWF Canadian Stampede '97. Lure the boys into doing a WWF 1997 arc.
Miami Connection: It's a film in the vain of Samurai Cop and Fatal Deviation that you lads will have some great craic with.
With Oscars season upon us, The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke seems appropriate
Full show of the WBF if it’s available. With Lex and Gary Strydem woow
The Princess Bride. Great film with a wrestling connection with Andre.
Movie wise: Halloween (1978) just to see what you all think of it and how you all think it holds up today Wrestling: WCW uncensored 95 (we all know why).
A suggestion from my mate Ryan. Close the circle started long long ago. Review WCW Uncensored '95 featuring the Blacktop Bully in the King of the Road match.
Why did I think of that bully cock joke lol
Summerslam 2002! Incredible wrestling with Rey v Angle, RVD v Benoit, the HHH v HBK street fight, and a young Brock going up against The Rock. A banger of a PPV from start to finish!
I mentioned before that'd it'd be so cool if you and your team could re-merge as much of A Hot Summer Night back together as possible (the Polynesian Pro supercard that had EVERYONE at the time) though I know that's a real tough task, and I think some of it still has never surfaced :( but if anyone can finagle a copy it's Jay
I really really would like to hear you lads review a film called I'm Gonna Git You Sucka... It is a brilliant film and the debut of Keenan Wayans. It is written by african americans and is a really funny insight into their own stereotypes, i think its called Blaxploitation. There are so many highlights I reference with my brothers who have watched it too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BddDCZwWkw0&t=129s&ab_channel=RottenTomatoesClassicTrailers I would love if you guys could consider this. Cheers Brah!
Something from Lucha Underground. If that's too vague: the build up to, and match, between Fenix and Mil Muertes. With the talk of Malakai Black in the discord, I think a "spooky bollocks done well" review would be lovely.
Wasn't it just?
Wrestling with Shadows. Great documentary. Lots of space for Bret love and some great quotes. Plus up close and personal with Stu stretchin’
The wrestling channels International Showdown, its such a great show with everyone you would want in 2005. Even a forgotten Cm Punk V Samoa Joe match. Everything from high flying wrestling from your spuds, styles etc to traditional old British wrestling. Literally has Everything. Had on dvd since the release, whole thing is on YouTube. Would use paragraphs for this but it doesn't let me lol
That show that flair did in north korea.
Also I’m brand new to the Patreon and the discord link doesn’t. Work
TNA Genesis 2025. I think it would be cool to cover where TNA is at now after doing a TNA arc.
Survivor Series '96. Rock debut and beginning of Stone Cold as a Main Eventer
I’d love to see y’all review either Women of Wrestling: Unleashed. Absolutely shit PPV Or the film The Longest Yard featuring Steve Austin, Kevin Nash, Khali, Goldberg, and Bob Sapp
What about an MMA show like UFC 1 or Pride 1
Summerslam 2008. It was the first PG show so it would be interesting to see if there was a noticeable change. Another example that could be fun would be The Simpsons Movie.
Wrestlemania 2000! Or (Whispering) Wrestlemania 12
I recently rewatched your Metal Gear Solid 1-3 reviews. Would love to see 4 & 5 get the same treatment, and maybe a special look into Delta once it's out.
Gotta be Insurrection 2002. This was my 1st WWF show in person and it was awesome!
V1 and OOC were talking during the London PPV watch along about the PG era and how the only thing worth discussing would be Rock/Cena so Mania 28?
Across the Tracks. Early Brad Pitt and NYPD Blue's Rick Schroeder as brothers who hate each other and must settle their differences through track meets.
GCW Josh Barnetts Bloodsport 1 from April 2019. A night of worked shoot mma/catch wrestling matches that can only end by knockout or submission inside in a ropeless ring.
The Great American Bash (1991) The scaffold match is pure Jim Herd bollox
Gotta be Scooby Doo/WWE 2: Curse of the Speed Demon! It's full-on wacky races with wrestling. So much fun.
Great American Bash '89. I think you've said before that early WCW is a time period you never want to do as an arc and that pains me. If anything can convince you of why that era was a perfect mix of great wrestling and total bollocks it's this show.
Transformers one, John wick, or the thing
Love when you make fighting game references, how about a fighting game deep dive? I vote Capcom/street fighter
Yes! A pinch of soul calibur wouldn't hurt either!
Wrestleicous
I think discussing The Mummy movies, or better yet THE SCORPION KING 1 AND 2 should be it. You got the Rock, randy couture, pure bollocks the entire time!!!
"You Cannot Kill David Arquette"; have it as an epilogue to the David Arquette Trilogy.
You should do a string of like five or six Simpsons episodes and it must include the episode"you only move twice"
Survivor Series 2002 - the first ever Chamber Match! A Deep Dive for Buffy, Red Dwarf or Bottom? Plus The Rocky Horror Picture Show is always a good shout
Summerslam 2002 if you guys were up for an amazing PPV.
I've always thought you guys would do a great job reviewing INNERSPACE (1987) starring Dennis Quaid and Martin Short. Could have been the next Back to the Future if marketed right and the perfect amount of bollocks.
Also, think it would be interesting to get your take on the movie with your medical backgrounds!
Shockwave the Robot: Breakdance, Bodyslam & Beyond. A batshit 50 min romp about a jive talking, breakdancing robot meant to get Shockwave the Robot booked at your local indy promotion! So good, it's free on YouTube.
The Simpsons Movie for sure is my ultimate OSW movie review list. It'd be fun to hear the boys thoughts on the Simpsons up to this time. I die hard love The Simpsons, my gf is an even bigger fan. She can quote any scene... and boy do I mean any! The movie is a soft spot for me. I remember my Dad taking my sister and I to see it and I became a regular weekly watcher since! Would just catch episodes here and there growing up but always in secret coz I thought I'd get in trouble for watching it lol
Backlash 2006 – the weird Umaga/Ric Flair squash match, the great Intercontinental Title vs. Money In The Bank match, the brutal triple threat main event… and Vince McMahon vs god.
Just toss this out NXT Takeover New Orleans
Invasion!
Boondocks Saints
WRESTLICIOUS BABY YEAH!!! 😍😍😍😍 “My name’s Draculetta I want to bite! You won’t watch me cause I’m fucking shite!” 😂😂😂
The Best of Backyard Wrestling VHS tape
Movie wise... :thinks: House on Haunted Hill (both the Vincent Price original and the 1999 remake) For wrestling event, still going with the tried and true "King of the Ring '98". Though you can do duel shows, the Raw Is War where Mankind won the WWE title as with the Nitro the same night with the Fingerpoke of Doom.
1986's The Transformers: The Movie!
Father Ted
The film Orgazmo
July 6, 1998 Nitro — Goldberg beats Hogan at the Georgia Dome, featuring a Karl Malone Diamond Cutter?!
1991 WWF Battle Royal at Royal Albert Hall.
Suburban Commando & Mr. Nanny, Hogan Double-bill BROTHER!
Any ott show or summerslam 1998
The 2008 Great American Bash holds a special, painful place in my heart reasons that are literally no fault of WWE.
The Iron Claw, Rumble (animated movie),Hercules Reborn
I would love if you guys reviewed some Red Dwarf. You could do Back to Earth as a film. But if we're going wrestling, Wrestlemanis 12 so you can tackle the Iron Man match!
The Phantom Menace. I wan to know Jay's hot takes after so many viewings
I'd love to hear your thoughts on The Iron Claw. Your film reviews are always incredibly insightful and it feels like a while since we had a wrestling film review. Also the World needs 5 minutes of you guys giving out about Temu Ric Flair.
With the new updated version coming out later this year, I'd love to see you guys review the original Toxic Avenger. It's such a fun campy movie with lots blood, guts and t and a
Would love to see you guys cover Herb Abrham's UWF Beach Blast for maximum bullocks. It's free on YT.
The Iron Claw.
The Simpsons Movie, South Park Stick of truth/fractured but whole and for wrestling: WCW Beach Blast 93! Davey/Sting vs Sid/Vader with 90s cheesy movie bollocks!
A good primer for if you ever go into the Ruthless Agression era of WWE: Wrestlemania 20. Where it all began again.
I think WCW/NJPW Collision in Korea might be a good laugh with a lot of the back story
Wrestlelicious
How about the 1985 AWA Wrestling for a Cure show? https://youtu.be/yCgoerOAElE?si=3rTvbCe6RusybwpJ It's got Backlund, Road Warriors and Sgt. Slaughter amongst other stars. It appears to be co-produced with a legitimate sports channel that doesn't appear to understand wrestling, so there's tons of awkward interviews and announcing. Killer Kowalski is on commentary and actually has to reign in the play-by-play guy and rush to call the finish of matches. Lots of laugh out loud moments, it's good stuff.
I would love to see you lads review the Always Sunny episode "The Gang Wrestles for The Troops". Sadly, it would be a quick review 🤣 In Your House: Canadian Stampede would be my choice. We need more Bruce Hart, the best Hart.
I've said this a few tines but Survivor series 98. I feel like it is such a distillation of the attitude era, particularly the breakneck raws, that you can dip a toe in without having to do the actual full attitude era. It's a tournament FULL of Russo bullocks including someone being screwed over repeatedly by the people he working with all along! Austin at the hight of the mcmahon feud, Rock and Foley becoming main eventers and even a rare PPV apprence of the man's man. Plus You can sing yhe sassy deadly games song non stop.
UWF Beach Brawl (June 1991). Herb Abrams retrospective (died naked covered in and baby oil. Cocaine and valium in his system). UWF's only PPV. Major failure. 500 people at a 4000 seat venue. PPV buyrate of 0.10. Bruno and DeGeorge on commentary. On the card: Boris Zhukov, Luna Vachon, Fire Cat, damaged Terry Gordy, Johnny Ace, Masked Confusion (Brian Blair and Jim Brunzell), Rockin' Robin, Paul Orndorff, Colonel DeBeers duck arse Bob Backlund, Ivan Koloff, Cactus Jack and Bob Orton, Jr., Dr. Death Steve Williams and Bam Bam Bigelow.
It's only half a hour but the MaxiVision Challenge infomerical with Hogan and his mates would be great. It's worth watching just for the backstory and the personalities involved!
Summerslam 2005
Big Bossman WWF return 1998 / 1999 3 reasons 1) vs Undertaker in HIAC 2) Kennel from Hell 3) Surfing on Big Show's Da's casket
Halloween havoc 93, Tony schiavonne being super creepy prior to the show…. Definitely should do a sting early wcw saga, so much cringe and fun at the same time.
Summerslam 2002 Still the greatest WWE ppv of all time. The show literally has something for everyone.
I've always thought you guys would have the absolute time of your lives reviewing Kaiju Mono. It's a fookin mental movie featuring some Japanese wrestling legends as well, always thought it'd be perfect for OSW.
Survivor series 95, my first ppv live was 11 years old. Plus for OSW got party Marty, gold dust PPV debut, the first(only) wild card match and a great Bret hart main event. Would be a great show to review.
UK Rampage 92 & 93. Not the greatest shows ever but I was there at both shows as a 12 & 13 year old and to hear the OSW boys talk about them would mean a lot. Perhaps throw 91 in there for a trilogy.
Ghost Rider (2007), I think you'd have so much fun with that film 💀
A bollocks film ….. Jupiter ascending
Bulldog in WCW in '93...any show.
Lockdown 2005 for some classic tna graps
I'd really like to see some Lucha Underground.
The Hulk Hogan XWF
Starcade 1. Mix of some great matches and old WCW/NWA bollocks
Nothing but trouble is my favorite b movie of all time.... I think an OSW review would be the best thing I've ever seen/heard!
No Retreat No Surrender...the karate kid but instead of Mr Miagi it's the ghost of Bruce Lee. Early Van Damme movie where he plays the villain! Honestly, I think it would be like a partner piece to Fatal Deviation review and a fine addition to OSW Lore!
Since we had the worst of the worst in Heroes of Wrestling, how about the other end of the scale WCW and AAA when worlds collide?
WCW New Blood Rising - a PPV named after a storyline that had all but petered out by the time said event came around.
An early '90s WCW arc covering characters like Big Josh and the ding Dongs, arachna man, Vinny Vegas, etc
Hogan's last world title run/End of WWF by looking at backlash 02
"Boy eats girl" would be gas. It's a really shite Irish zombie film. Featuring Samantha Mumba
WCW Uncensored 1995 and the King of the Road match. It’s time.
TNA Bound For Glory 2005 👍
Beyond the Mat
AAA/IWC When World's Collide.
NWO Souled Out 97
This is the literal worst wrestling show from a major company that I have EVER seen!
