Well hellooooo!
Here's the early edition of our whopper almost 4 HOUR Elden Ring Deep Dive!
It's a 4-part series (of roughly 1-hour each) but we've decided to launch the whole thing together. And what better time than with the DLC dropping next week! It's currently undergoing copyright and restriction checks on YouTube, but i'm hoping it'll all be grand for release this Sunday if not earlier. Enjoy!

A Note about Spoilers! We dissect every part of the main game (so full spoilers for the base game) and zero about the DLC (we're all going in blind). I wouldn't worry about the spoilers though, as there isn't much "plot" to the game itself - it's all world-building / more "lore-based", that you indirectly find out through item descriptions and such. It's not quite Mario-level of "you can't spoil the plot" but there's only one or two bits; but you need to know about them because they close off certain quests/characters.
There is a section called "Tips for 1st Time Players" specifically if it interests you :) Anywoo enough blathering, enjoy!

Gentlemen...on my second watch through, both my girlfriend and I saw something at the same time that I have to ask...2 hours and 4 minutes or so...the discussion regarding the eternal city...with a big elevator...sirs...was that the Cody-vator featuring Cody himself as our Tarnished hero? Because we absolutely died laughing when we saw it.
I put this game down months ago for all the reasons you mentioned in the video about how this game puts the player in a constant state of fear and anxiety. Your video helped me realize that this is the whole point of the game! I’m supposed to be anxious. I’m supposed to be afraid! Leaning into the discomfort, I just defeated Rennala, respeced my character into a bad ass samurai and I’m grinding my way toward whatever it is I’m trying to do in this game. Loved the wrestling references too btw!
A part of me knew I was being worked, but I accepted your obvious challenge and watched it in one sitting anyway. And I loved it, so nyah!
I actually did one of my media degree assignments on how Dark Souls teaches perseverance and can be used as a tool to show people they can overcome any obstacle!
DUDE how can anyone NOT LOVE The EPIC Hulk Hogan Intro Scene. That music feels like it NEEDS to be in a Comic Movie like Man of Steel on his way to Defeating the Villian After The Sun Rises for the Alien to Rise to the Occasion!!!
I don't know what possessed me, but I saw the Grafted Greatsword (a massive sword made of other, smaller swords) and thought "this is the stupidest weapon I've ever seen...and I am going to dedicate my playthrough to using it." Thus began my ludicrous strength-build. Eventually, I wielded it one-handed. You have not known satisfaction until you have clubbed Radagon and the Elden Beast into oblivion with the dumbest weapon in the Lands Between.
Time to load up Elden Ring for new game plus and watch some fookin animals!!!!
Amazing review summed up my feelings on the game perfectly. I honestly thought the occasional golden letters used in the title cards were going to spell something (I don't think it does unless I missed some)

I used to love playing games but with work and life in general, I haven't touched my PS5 or Switch in like 2 years haha. Gonna give this a watch after the football since I'm intrigued and because its a 4 hour video you's obviously put a lot of work into this. Least I can do is watch haha
