OOC returns next week for an Elden Ring deep dive!

And welcome to all our new members, and a laurel and hardy handshake to our longtime faithful! Just a quickie note to say we've been busy beavering away on our BIGGEST VIDEO EVER, on Elden Ring! It's the first videogame deep dive we've made with OOC, and it's well over 3.5 hours. It's technically a 4-parter but we're releasing it all in one gigantic video!
This will be the FIFTH Deep Dive on videogames we've done (you can catch up on the previous videos in this playlist here) - the Resident Evil one is age-gated so you probably wouldn't see it recommended on YouTube!
I'm hoping to release it next weekend but it'll be up here on nU as soon as it's ready. Here's a look at all the different sections coming up:

WOW So was this Video Made By Zack Snyder giving us yet another multi-part 4-hour masterpiece like ZSJL?? I Demand Multiple Slow-mo action Scenes, Multiple Junkie XL Audio/music Scores, as well as top-of-the-line Visuals/Action scenes! LOL J/K And of course Who wouldn't be down for a 4hr OSW Deep Dive??
this is gonna be awesome! very happy to see OOC back and on a video game deep dive no less. i might have to skip the boss overview stuff as the only stuff ive done in ER is a SL1/no RoundTable playthrough and ended up stopping because you cant get into the Capital without talking to some guy in Roundtable or beating Radahn (apparently theres some sewers or something?). been meaning to pick it back up, so this might give me the motivation i need!
the golden city is one of the few "locked out" points of the game, ya you need to beat two Shardbearer (main story) bosses. it's v cool when u reach the gate and they're like "sorry!" because there's a real bastard of a field boss right beforehand, who is harder than the bosses you were supposed to have beaten!
Nice to see the Great OOC Strike of '24 is over.

That’s sick! Question though: never played Elden Ring, but like to once the dlc is out. Is this video still for me or should I wait?
We're keeping the DLC separate (no spoilers). This video will have main game spoilers but there is a section that is specifically for first time players! That said there isn't that much "plot" as such for the game, the focus is on the gameplay itself. It's not a game i'd recommend going in totally blind because it's so difficult, and such little signposting.
I thought he only played Fifa 15, Fifa 14, and Fifa 13 hahahahaah. I might be the only one who enjoys the Q&A episodes

Never in my life did I think I would vibe with a FromSoft game (I'm shit at video games ngl) but then my Beloved called my bluff and bought it for me 💀💀💀 I'm ludicrously excited for this!!!
Oh man am I keen for this. I love when video games get the full OSW treatment (we see the work that goes into the research, editing, humour etc.) - perfect timing too, with the DLC out in a couple of weeks!
