I'm really impressed by your composition skills, but also your sound design/mixing skills. And if I get it right, you most of the time compose and mix on random places with just a computer and headphones, right? Can you share the headphone model that you use? How do you manage to get your balance right between lows and hights, do you use reference track or any tools like Izotope's Tonal Balance Control? Is it then further mixed by an engineer? Or mastered? Thanks a lot
How did you start becoming renowned?
Last one: Is there any released track where you feel the most it would have been better if it hadn't got lyrics? And a track instead that doesn't have any lyrics but you wish there were?
And another one: How do you find balance between working on new release tracks and Patreon tracks/content? Do you feel burn out from all these Projects being open, and if so, how do you release yourself from that feeling ?
Yoo Goat <3 As someone who wants to begin Music Production in the very near future, what are the first things you think/recommend i should learn as a starting point, and also some tips and tricks/resources you think are best to start this challenge and to perfect learning skills? And in regard, do you think there are benefits on learning DJ mixing before, after or alongside production? Being part of this Patreon and Discord (streams principally) for the past 3 years already gave me an headstart in some aspects, but i aspire to reach your level :)
Hey! 1: How do you find inspiration to create tunes? Like what gives you true motivation and flow? Is it a disciplinary thing? 2: What made you start making music? 3: What is your favorite topping on dutch pancakes? Appreciate your music man, it has helped me through tough times :_)
If you've not already done this, my question is 'what non music related advice or knowledge would you give your younger self given what you know now as present day you?'
How should I approach finding my own signature sound? & would you ever make a song with Taiki Nulight? Happy new year :))
Hi! Thank you for doing this! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing how you make the reverbed out/distorted/super rhythmic "Dubstep Drums" in your packs. They add soooo much to a song and I would really like to learn how to do that because the rhythym you get into them I cannot seem to emulate in my own attempts/productions.
seems like there has been a relatively big/consistent progression in your sound since unfold. are there any things you've learned along the way that stand out to you in terms of production or writing?
Hi Imanu, how are you? I hope you're doing well. My question is... what was the most difficult thing you found to learn in the world of music production? Do you recommend any YouTube channels for learning how to use Serum or Harmor, FL Studio's native plugins, and getting the most out of them?
any tips that changed the way you mix and master??
what was your plan if music never worked out? did you have a backup plan / degree to fall back on? love the year you've had bro excited for what's to come!!
What’s your thoughts on Spotify? As a streaming platform and as a business
Are we ever getting the ADE 2025 recording? :((
i've heard its pretty soon O_o
Hey Jona! I‘m currently getting into DJing, and I‘m curious if you plan set‘s perfectly or if you keep some room to play and change. And if so (2nd option) how do you get back on track (planned set) or do you just go with the flow? I find it personally pretty hard to just go with the flow and not sticking to a linear plan, do you got any tips and tricks? Btw is your dj tutorial video still coming out? :))) Cheers bro!
Whats your computer? Mines crashing with two Soothe2
Also... What about That ZedsDead collab? *wink* *wink*
I wanted to know what a good amount of time someone should work on a song for? I’m curious because I’d like to be able to release an original/ remix every 2 months and set healthy achievable goals for myself and brand.
I know that you were with Golden Features in the studio some time ago, can you tell how was having a session with him, and how much you guys click? Maybe a collab in the futute? I think it would sound interesting, especially if he regurgitates a little his old sound. Thank you!
Top 5 football teams?
As a new independent producer (non dj) how would you go about putting music out? is streaming worth it? which distributor is decent or which way to sell music? basically im just a girl in this big world of established and more skillful producers
- Tips for releasing a song - Tips for promoting ourselves - Tips for artwork
What do you think what should a producer with 20 subscribers do if they want to expand their audience?
Curious why FL and not any other DAW? Is there a reason for FL that is esoteric or a function it has over others?
- Are record labels worth it when releasing our first songs? - Any points to demand without exception? - Exposure over payments?
Whats your spirit animal?
its probably a sea cucumber
What was your main concern and fear when you decided to leave Signal for the new brand? Was this an easy process? And why? Do you advice to make the change to an artist that is a bit stuck in his world but want to move on? Thanks
What's your approach when working w/ vocalists? Do you typically send out rough demos first and see who's interested, or work with a singer from scratch in real-time and build around what they're feeling? Also, how's your vocal-scouting process look (i.e., how do you find vocalists)?
How do you approach your pre-mix, and how do you usually hand it off to a mix engineer without losing your vision or creating friction?
Will we ever see the “HOLDONHOLDON” ID? I’ve been in love with it ever since I heard it in secret sky.
You can find it in the vaults, vault 1 iirc
also there will be another feedback stream on the discord tomorrow so don't forget to link your account and join in >:)
