February 2024 Preview: the Peasant Uprising!
In this final publication of the upcoming February 2024 we take a look at remaining miniatures to be seen for the following set of Gallia miniatures: the Sherwood Archers and our three (3) Sherwood heroes.
We have had a blast sculpting these Robin Hood inspired miniatures. We are huge fan of Friar Tuck and his young musician companion. For the design of Robin Hood, we tried to recreate the famous movie poster from The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), featuring the charismatic Errol Flynn.
For the Peasant Uprising we will also follow the steps of the Young Knights of Gallia, the lowest rank within the Knights of Gallia and we will take a look at a second wave of peasantry, including a new set of Mounted Men-at-arms.
Join us in the great Peasant Uprising for a new set of Gallia miniatures that will include:
5x Young Knights of Gallia*
3x Young Knights of Gallia Command Group*
5x Mounted Men-at-arms
3x Mounted Men-at-arms Command Group
4x Mounted Men-at-arms Horses
1x Robin Hood
1x Little John
1x Friar Tuck
6x Sherwood Archers
* The Young Knights of Gallia use the same horses as the Knights of Gallia. After approval from the community, horses will be included in the set.

How do I download my files ? Thanks
Hi there! The monthly set of miniatures is usually available between the 10th and 15th of each month in Google Drive. You can download previous set of miniatures from your MyMiniFactory account. You can find this information and more in the download guide you can find in your Welcome Note: https://www.patreon.com/posts/59318891 Have a nice day, Marta from Highlands Miniatures
when will be avaible for download?
The only one happy to be here is Robin the Hood.
The community have spoken -well, texted- in Discord! There will be horses! #FreetheHorses PD: We have deleted previous comments stating otherwise to not generate confusion to people reading the comment section.
Beautiful ! will there be swords for men-at-arms?
Glad you like them Arnaud! Not in the short term, but we would love to expand the line with more miniatures in the future!
do these come sized in scale with the classic GW bretonian archer or do I have to adjust the scale (and if so by how much)
Hi Miguel, Highlands Miniatures is 32mm heroic scale miniatures. Therefore, if you want to print at any other scale, you have to adjust the dimensions to match your desired scale.
Great looking models, will you be making any more heros as they seem to be lacking
Glad you like them Lee! Yes, we will create a set of Gallia heroe miniatures in the future!
These look great! Do you plan on adding any more swordsman to the Gallia Knights on Foot set? I would certainly like to have more sword-armed knights.
Glad you like them Daniel! We do not have plans to include any more miniatures to the Gallia Knights on Foot in the short term, but we will bring more content to Gallia in the future!
I love the work you have done on Gallia! Will we be getting some new Grail Knights? I love the new style. Thank you for all the hard work and your time.
Hi Mark! Glad you like them! You can find all our previous Gallia set of miniatures in our MyMiniFactory store: https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Highlandsminis
Any chance of a version of friar tuck bringing some beverages to the battle? Love this version too btw
Thank you so much
Is there much of a difference between the questing knight horses and regular horses in terms of pose? Or are they more or less the same poses tweaked with some extra details?
I love the Robin Hood vibes!
That Friar Tuck is sooooo good! I didn’t even know I needed that in my life!!
This is amazing! You guys are the best <3 I know you can't directly make TOW models, but there is a certain new hero without an official model, wouldn't this be something you could produce? :)
Glad you like them Samuel!
Looks lovely. How compatible are the horses between types of Galia knights? Are they the same horses (they look very similar to the normal knights horses)?
Thank you Christopher! All the Gallia horses use the same saddle, so they are fairly compatible. In the case of the Young Knights of Gallia, as we explained in their preview publication, they use the same horses as the Knights of Gallia, so there won't be any specific horses available for them.
So glad I re-upped great work
Glad you like them Jason!
Fantastic! Should we expect a Maid Marion?
Glad you like them Andy! We didn't have the time to sculpt it for this following set of miniatures but she will arrive in the future to Highlands Miniatures!
