February 2024 Preview: the Peasant Uprising!
A new month is ahead of us and a new set of Gallia miniatures is in the works for this upcoming February 2024.
For the Peasant Uprising we will follow the steps of the Young Knights of Gallia, the lowest rank within the Knights of Gallia and we will take a look at a second wave of peasantry, including a new set of Mounted Men-at-arms.
We will also pay tribute to one of the greatest vintage films ever and one of our favourite versions of Robin Hood: The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) featuring Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland.
As a design note, the Young Knights of Gallia will come with modular heads. There won't be custom horses for the Young Knights of Gallia, they will be using the horses available in the Knights of Gallia set of miniatures, as showcased in the preview images.
Join us in the great Peasant Uprising for a new set of Gallia miniatures that will include:
5x Young Knights of Gallia
3x Young Knights of Gallia Command Group
5x Mounted Men-at-arms
3x Mounted Men-at-arms Command Group
4x Mounted Men-at-arms Horses
1x Robin Hood
1x Little John
1x Friar Tuck
6x Merry Men
Now... let's dive into it!

Good stuff! Is the champion head swappable? The pose would make a good Duke with one of the grail heads!
Awesome looking figures! What would be the chances of getting the horses without the head armor? I feel like this could be a good opportunity to slightly change the horse to offer something different! Just a thought lmk what ya think, thanks!
Are you guys planning on doing tomb guard when you revist tomb kings?
Shit i just camceld my patreon in November. Now i really want this Knights.. but I had to pay 4€ per month :/ was not worth it to cancel for 2 months :(
I’m so excited for Bertrand and Pals!!! Yay!!!
They look great!
Im really hoping your going to do some Beastmen types
I hope we someday get a sheriff to go with the merry men.
These are so awesome. I hope we get mounted men at arms with Bows or crossbows
*You*
Love it tou guys are knocking it out the park
I’d love to see more helmet choices in that simpler style. Also, I’d love to have that shield without the (I assume) fabric texture on it. Having a unit of 12 nights with the exact same shield wrinkles looks silly.
These look great! However, can you please make some arms with the lance couched for the charge? You don’t stab forward with a lance ever, its far to heavy and ungainly for that and looks strange!
my wish list for Gallia..tick....tick and tick......fantastic!
So when can we expect to see some of the Mounted Men'at'Arms and/or the Merry Men?
Along the next few weeks!
Very much looking forward to the Robin Hood gang. My favourite of the old Bretonnian range.
Amazing! Your sculpting style is absolute perfection 🤩. Crisp beautiful models which are a joy to paint. So many other miniature designers over detail their minis for no reason making them so crappy to paint.
Thank you for the support and lovely words Jarek, glad you like them!
No wonder why you didn't reply on my knights errand question before XD Love it!
Fabulous ! I hope that the merry men will look like the ones in Shrek 😜
So nice...you're fulfilling dreams guys | Any further plans for Heroes like Renyard etc.
Thank you Erik! We will do our best to create more Gallia hero miniatures at a later time!
I am loving the look of the errant knights. They look like proper knights but are simplified compared to their more veteran counterparts, giving that image of being less experienced. I look forward to printing these guys out.
Glad you likem Christopher! It was a challenge to create a different equipment for the Young Knights to make them different from the two existing Knights set of miniatures while keeping the same aesthetic. The combination of basic chainmail, tabard and bare heads does the trick!
Looking forward to these!
Glad you like them Rory!
Love it! More bare heads please as they add lots of verity for the army elsewhere too
Bare heads for the god of bare heads!
Oh I am so stoked to see Robin Hood and the merry men!! Feb is going to be another great month :D
It is going to be a great February for sure! We are really looking forward to work on those Robin Hood inspired miniatures!
