Highlands Miniatures Roadmap 2024 and more news!
Good afternoon guys,
Hope you are having a great week. Today we will take a quick look at the following months in Highlands Miniatures and what you can expect in term of miniatures.
Along the next following months we will continue working on Gallia and the Orcs and Goblins until both fantasy races are mostly completed before moving on to new adventures and exciting fantasy races.
But that doesn't mean that we won't see anything else than medieval and orcish miniatures for months!
We are going to embark in a new visual and artistic journey in Patreon where we will be developing new fantasy races and miniatures to grant you a deeper knowledge of the art and style behind the future fantasy races and a bigger voice in the design process before the time arrives to select the future fantasy races that will come to Highlands Miniatures.
For this upcoming December 2023, a new set of big Orcs are coming to Highlands Miniatures, heavier than ever! Yes, a new set of Mordhun's Orcs that will include heavy infantry, heavy machines and special miniatures!
Join us in January 2024 for a massive pilgrimage in the search for the Holy Grail with this new set of Gallia miniatures that will include unique infantry, cavalry and much more!
A blast from the past in this last set of Gallia miniatures coming this February 2024. The Peasant Uprising, a new massive set of medieval miniatures including your favourite Sherwood bowmen and mounted men at arms!
The Mountain Rage will be upon us for the last set of Orc miniatures coming to Highlands Miniatures in March 2024. A massive set of feral, wild and savage orcs will be part of this incredible set of miniatures.
In April 2024 we will take a first look at the new mischievous Goblins coming directly from the steppe. New core set of miniatures including infantry and cavalry for your perfect Goblin fantasy army.
And before stepping into summer, in May 2024 we will say goodbye to these lads with a final set of Goblins with a special 'summer touch'. We can't reveal much yet but stay tuned for more!
What will come next?
By the end of the first half of 2024 we will publish a new poll in Patreon to let you guys choose the future fantasy races coming to Highlands Miniatures.
New fantasy elves, mischievous Ratmen, malevolous Dwarfs... You will have to choose one!

No one does Dark Elves that look anything like something you'd find in a 28mm fantasy wargame. Huge gap in the market.
I second the Lizardmen army for the future. Any elf army would also work

Chaos Dwarves as a faction are a major model gap in the industry at the moment. I think you could get a lot of traction by doing a cohesive and complete line of them.
There are at least two artists that offer Chaos Dwarves. Been available for several years. Including warmachines and beasts.

Hey guys ! Another question regarding your roadmap ! Any plans on going back to your Ogres on the foreseeable future? :) I know there's a top on the plate, and I would see that evil dwarfs, ratmens or dynasties undead are all really exciting, but you know, there's so such thing as too much armies 🤣
Can I just say I’m a huge huge fan, really enjoying all your work. Started because of the dwarves but stayed since, could we throw a few suggestions in? I’d love to see your take on a Conan the destroyer type army, or even a warband. I feel your take on them would be a winner; An obviously would love to see any elves in the mix too.
pretty much happy with everything you work on Ramon, even if others do it, I like your take on how fantasy minis should look which fits with my view, so win win for me, and love the road map, if i was pushed in a poll, maybe, Dark elves/Ratmen/Chaos ;-)
Everyone does Egyptian-inspired undead. I can think of three creators who have done pretty much the whole army. Now, you have started, which I personally think was a bad idea and a waste of your time, so there is a case to be made that you should finish. But what about, say, Roman-inspired undead?
Since I posted this, Roman undead have become available. Not a fully articulated TK proxy army, but a lot. You have your choice of Late Republic and Early Imperial. It's on MMF.
I'd like to see some alternate beastmen!

Your take on Chaos dwarves would be so cool! Honestly all of your releases have been amazing. I just can’t wait to see what you do next.

Love the road map - Gallia is why I'm here... so yay me? Came for the Gallia - staying for the wood elves.
Would love to see more mummified undead if possible. Looking forward to voting for evil dwarves. Any chance some more... spacey dwarfs in the poll, or even a KS later? You guys are always doing great work, so I am sure I will love whatever comes out of the poll.

Great roadmap! But what about Sunland? You switched to your new style with the new core battalion release, but you never redid the greatswords and knights. Still wishing for different knightly orders. 😀

Thank you for the road map! As always I look forward to everything you create. It is always my miniatures hobby highlight of the month when you reveal new models. Printing skeletons right now but itching to get to those beautiful Orcs!
