Today we just wanted to make the announcement of the announcement for the upcoming Fantasy Army and race that will come to Highlands Miniatures in 2023: the enemies, the great foe of the Sons of Ymir.

At this point, Highlands Miniatures has delivered such quality stuff I'd stick with them regardless of what the army is. Any chance of doing a Mantic army in the future? No one makes great Nightstalker STLs.
Thank you very much for the confidence and support Jesse! In a few weeks we will know! About your question, that kind of magical races -in the same way as demon- are quite difficult to create and very hard to find inspiration to design them, but who knows! Maybe in the future!

Not at all! We will be working on the Sons of Ymir in 2023 along with this new fantasy race :)

You guys do realize that what the historical Vikings mostly did to the historical Scots was colonize and interbreed? Because that's a weird look for Dwarves and Orcs.

Chaos dwarves?
I wouldnae have used aye so often and not enough f words but 10/10 for using glaikit. See if it's Scottish Orcs/Goblins I'm gonnae be ragin. Celtic Wood Elves would be a dream. You could work in kelpies as monsters and of course we still have plenty of deer for cavalry to ride. National animal is the unicorn after all!
Who knows what kind of fantasy creatures and races are living and coexisting in the northern wooded lands of the fantasy world of Highlands Miniatures!

Well it canβt be undead because they exist already. Based on northern Dwarfs it could be demons/vikings. Or fantasy Russians. Chaos Dwarfs unlikely. Iβd love something more Dark Iron Dwarf, a Dwarf civil war. Wood Elves also likely. Though Skaven would feel the most likely to me.
