Movement trays for all!
Good evening guys,
We totally forgot to showcase the Modular Dwarf Movement Tray that will be available this September 2022 Release along with the rest of the miniatures, so super quick post today just to show how it will look!
We wanted to make a resin modular movement tray but due to the size of the standard resin printers, we had to find a way to make it small but with big possibilites.
After a few iterations we decided to create one "pre-assembled" movement tray for five 20x20mm square bases in a row split in two pieces: front and middle section, that you can print as many time as you want to form the movement tray.
The second option is the full modular pieces that you can combine together to create any movement tray you may need for your units, like the second example of the preview images. In the third image you can see all the pieces that will be available to download.
You can obtain the rest of the pieces, like the back section to "close" the movement tray, by simply using the mirror option in your slicer.
The holes in the bases and in the sides of the decorative corners are designed for a 5x2mm round magnet.

Sorry to ask but is there a slight chance for these trays to be also made available for a base size of 25 x 25 mm for upcoming Omd World?

Did you experience any warping? I used to have alot of trouble with 3D printed moving trays.
You can probably experience some warping with the pre-assembled movement tray, but if you choose the full modular movement tray, each piece has almost the same size as a normal 20x20mm square base, so there isn't much room for warping :)

As excited as I am for the September models these will be the first thing I print. Printers been going Non-stop with models from month one and two and now we’ll have the perfect bases/modular trays for them!

They look great. I would prefer plain ones to style myself though. Have you added a couple of millimetres to help with miniature placing?
Hi Morten! Yes, each square section is slightly bigger than 20x20mm, around 20,5mm, so it leaves some space. For example, the five miniature row has a total length over 102mm. :)

Will we be seeing 25x25mm trays also?
If there is not one, a scaling to fit is not too difficult unless supports for the type of printing desired is needed.
What are the diamateres? Outside ones. In mm would be best :)
